I think this would be perfect for selling Merch on the go... I have never used it outside of my shop... to be honest when it slipped out my hand in the video that was a mistake that you learned right with me real time... I just left it in the video to show it will slip out your hand. I have not picked it up since I put it in my shop... I am just telling you if you will have a lot of people handling it... find a way to mount it to the table... I still use it pretty heavily in my barbershop 💈.. I don’t use the print feature at all. Ran out of paper and never got more. We also have one in the mall that is used for the train 🚂. It has been dropped by several people printing is not an option anymore. Broken but it still works great for everything else. Email & text receipts are the best way to go. You capture the client or customer information when you do it that way. Good way to get repeat sales. I hope this was helpful mine is holding up great. The train 🚂 one has seen better days. 😂 they both work fine. Much Respect

No I have never looked into clover. I have always just charged the fee to the client. Now I mainly go through my booking app to receive payments. I use the square for clients who don't pay through the app. Not nearly as many people as it use to be. I also use Zelle now when I have a client that has it and for my Renters. No Fee and it keeps a pretty good record directly in my account. there are so many ways to collect money these days. This Square has been great in the time that I have had it. Still going strong. I suggest send digital receipts 🧾. I have one in my shop and I have one at a part time job. Neither print. The one in my shop will proof just never bought more paper. I have never needed it. If someone wants a receipt I send it text or email. Not much requires paper these days. Even paper money that is the whole point of this product to me. To remove the need for paper. It was an IPad with square software (app) installed. The stand made it so you could accept credit cards

So I will both in order to take credit card payments. One can’t work with the other

I don’t want to lie to you... but I don’t know... I don’t track as close as most... I get a deposit notification each day to my email... I do quick math in my head... but I never check to see how much each client has paid me... My clients treat me well... I never check behind them... it makes me not feel worthy sometimes when they bless me... so I just don’t look... Maria, I believe you can, when I had the larger device. I use to see Square (on their site) Videos showing how you could use it with multiple business locations... I could not see how you would not want to hide your information in a situation like that. This device seems like it would be a good add in to a system. Now I am telling you, I am not sure because I, and I alone use mine. I wish I had more reasons to use it and more people to use it for... lol it would mean more money for me... lol but I will tell you this my clients are loving this thing. And this that dont understand touch-less systems yet... that is me... I have it in my shop but I never pay for anything with my phone... call me old school, set in my ways, or lazy... I’m just getting comfortable with using Cards, lol why I want to put it in my phone... My wallet stay with me... I hate phones, lol... Square puts it directly in my Checking account with my bank.

To answer your question yes this runs off a battery so you could take it from shop to shop or even use it as a street vendor. If I am correct you can even take offline payments and they will all go through when you connect to WiFi or hard line internet. I use it only in one place so I might not be the best person to ask but I am almost certain I am correct on the matter. I love mine... lol I don’t feel you would be upset with it in anyway.... let me know if you get it, what you think and if it works. Thank you again and much respect... stay safe

Diamond, it does come with a cable to use a Ethernet cable... I just use WiFi because I would have to run the cable around the room or move the device... to answer you question though... you can use it with or with out either... even no connection will work if you take it somewhere... when you connect to internet the transactions are supposed to go through. I have not tried that yet, but I have had my system say it was offline and completed a transaction... I have had no problems to mention since I have had it... I just got mine today, but do you know how to print the entered day sales to keep record of it? I was using the touch less one via my iPhone but I’ve chosen to give out receipts. Specific for mature people who don’t get use to technology.

I always wanted to. If I had a need for a cash draw I would get one. I don't do many cash transactions these days. My thoughts if I used a lot of cash I would get one. Hope this was helpful. Much Respect

No I use Booksy. I got use to it and it’s hard to make changes to a system like that. Clients get use it like a phone number.

I am pretty sure you could set a cash drawer and a bar code scanner up to this... it has a USB hub that goes with it I just never used it so I forgot to put it in the video... I would not do the IPad... I did it that way and just slows everything down when you are using the Ipad for other things... Software updates from both Square and Apple... I still love it and use it today. I will say other forms of payment have become useful since I did this video but this is still my go to when all else fails. Well this and Cash. Zelle and my booking App are now the other 2 ways I receive payments when I am not using square. No Service fee on Zelle and you get a good record of where the sale came from. Square just shows one lump sum and says square deposit. Zelle put the name of the person who sends each payment. to answer your question in short... I still love using the Square and would still recommend. Much Respect

I dont think I have had a problem with this device not once in the time that I have had it... to tell you the truth this thing has been the best investment I have ever made... not joking... just the video alone has paid for itself and I put a charge on using a card... per transaction... it has paid for itself 3 or for times that way i am sure... the cool thing is I could tell you just how much it has made me in the 2 years I have owned it... This thing has been the best investment I have made... nothing and I mean nothing has come close... not joking... I love this thing...Square pays/paid me nothing to say or do any of it.... that how you know its true... Much Respect Stay Safe

I actually just watched another video that says if you dont have internet that you can go to settings and switch to OFF LINE mode.. and still check people out...as soon as you are connected to the internet the payments will automatically go through and be completed.

I am not sure never used the two together.

I still (Love) it. It does not feel like it has been that long, but it has. I still use it though I will say not as often as I use to. Now Most of my payments run through my booking app now. this still comes in very handy for times where other payment options are needed. I still use it every work day. hope this helped but now there are things like Zelle, cash app and others.

I think you can... I have not tried it though.

Yeah, there are actually a lot of peripherals for it. There’s a cash register, a scanner, a full size receipt printer... all kinds of stuff.

I am still working on this whole RU-vid thing. Trying to get use to talking to a camera is hard. it almost feels like you are talking to yourself. The more I do it the more fun I have and the better my videos seem to be coming out. Its hard to make videos, I always find it easier when I do it about a product that I like. It just doesn't help that I am not really a Tech Guy I am just a guy who likes to make videos. I think I am just finding what I want to make them about... Thats a good question... really good question... sorry I don’t know the answer. that would be very helpful but I would say it would be easier to just pick up the device and turn it... wipe it down with a wet wipe after each use... dont let them handle just have them touch the screen... I have never done it like that before, but I have heard that it can be used offline... I love mine, but I do keep mine in a shop... Great device no problems out of it yet. Much Respect and stay safe

Mike, I went through the App and set everything up, not hard at all. I do not use as many categories as most people will do with it... It was very easy to set up and I have had no problems with it since I switched over to it...
