Squarebody With New Style Center Caps Install C10 C1500

This is simple and pretty straight forward, all you need on a C10 to install center caps with the plastic lock nuts is:
Center Cap
Lock Nuts
1/2-20 External thread lug nuts
and done......
I did a google search and looked over some forums to find out what all I needed, but there wasn't much info. I knew what size lug nuts I needed and found some on Ebay from lugnutking. Fit great and now these Cragars look pretty spiffy. They will atleast hold me over until I get the dog dish wheels back on. Like and subscribe and contact me with any questions, Thanks!

I got a doubt, i just bought these kind of center cup, i have not installed yet, so i was wondering if there is a way to prevent someone might steal it? If i bought a wheel lock, will do the trick? Are the locks compatibles with the plástic lugs? Please excuse my english.

what kind of center caps are those? i only see hub caps that are pushed to fit but i dont see those kinds of center caps that goes with the lug knots

I would worry about the weights being on the outside of the wheel, caps look good though

Where did you get the caps, I can’t find them anywhere on eBay or amazon, without them having the the 3 screws on on them, I don’t feel like drilling and threading holes

These look like 70’s era Impala center caps. Are they aftermarket or originals? Looks sweet!

They're OEM GMC hub caps. I don't remember the application, but I'm guessing a mid 90s pickup.

I know they were 17x9 wheels. 275/40/17 on the rear and I can't remember the front. I'm running a different setup now.

@@newergonnausethis yea, but the tire was not as wide. I think it was a 245. I do remember it was 25.5" tall

i have a 1994 c1500, the lug nut size is 14x1.5 should I order that size or 1/2-20 size

You should order the 14x1.5. The STD size will not work for you if your lug studs are metric.

@@jnork5005 Thanks for responding! One more question are the logos on the hub caps sticker like? I want to recreate the double black hub cap the 454 ss had but can only find a black hub cap with a different logo. Do you think I can peel off the old sticker and place a new one on it?

Found "NOS" on eBay. Junk yards may have some if you can't find anything on Google.

It is. I just finished up with paint and body and I'm waiting for some consecutive warm days to install the pre-cut body moldings. Once that's done, I'll post and updated walk around video.

As long as the bolt pattern is 5x5 it'll fit. I can't remember which year chevy went 6 lug on both 4wd and 2wd trucks

These are 17x9 with 275s. I sold these and I'm running Basset wheels with the same caps. I'm going to post a video soon

They're just caps and don't need any kind of hubcentric rings. They are held on to the lug nuts by the plastic nuts.

As far as the wheels themselves, they don't vibrate, at least not that I can tell.

@@jnork5005 get a different tire shop to balance the wheels either using stick ons or just using inner weights, just got mine done; they sure did take a hell of a lot more weight to balance internally but absolutely no weights on the outside. My wheels are the 7 spoke 2014-19 17s by the way.
