This video clip is about the table that I designed. The table is inspired by Borge Mogensen and George Nakashima’ furniture design. This table will take a role as the main in my showroom. It will be used in a wide range of role for customer consoling, training and refreshments on orders and making, and will also be a small stadium for children’s cars

Another very nice furniture project. I am always excited about the use of classic wood connections in furniture construction. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case in Germany. Wood connections with Festool Domino and Lamello systems dominate. So I'm all the more pleased about videos that show classic furniture construction. I love that you always apply the finish by hand with a cotton glove seems so simple and easy. Do you use a new thin glove each time or keep using a thicker one? Any thoughts about the best kind of glove? It looks like you usually use an oil finish. I usually use a hard wax oil but I’m thinking the same glove technique would work. Thanks

All gloves are also of different weights. We find suitable cotton gloves, use them, and throw them away. As you may know, the oil finish is discarded after drying because there is a risk of fire.

The base hole is 1.5~2mm big at the front and back~ Instead, the bolt head is large and holds it well~

Great looking table. It would be nice to see what the project is before you start the building process. The thumbnail isn't big enough. The attention to detail is amazing, but it is hard to tell what part you are working on. Maybe captions if you don't want to do a voice over? If you want to add subscribers, I would consider adding those parts to the videos, IMHO.

Absolutely beautiful design and execution; and it's especially nice to see the table in use, and not just on display! One question that, as a fellow woodworker, I just HAVE to ask: Why did you choose such complex tenons for the uprights, and then switch to dominos (HOMEMADE dominos, but dominos nonetheless...) for the stretchers? Personally, I use dominos EVERYWHERE, but I also do not possess your patience to chop out all of those mortises and cut the tenons, especially when they are not visible! I look forward to watching you build your next project!

If my interpretation is correct, why did you use dominoes? Is it correct? The length is shortened by mistake, so you have to use dominoes. The overall load and structure support the top plate firmly with both legs The bolts hold the legs and upper plate strong. Thanks for watching!

Well... I think the design time is different for each furniture. Sometimes it's early and it's late. This table design is a design made a long time ago After revising around March 2020, drawings will be I think I modified it. I made it for use, so I don't think I was in a hurry. Probably, if it had been made to order, it would have suffered from creation.

안녕하세요. 저도 일반 테이블이나 다른것들 만들 때에는 팔자철물을 사용합니다. 볼트를 사용하는 이유는 좀 더 강력한 체결을 원할때 사용하곤 합니다. 볼트 크기보다 조금 더 크게 타공을 하여 수축팽창으로부터 대응도 좋구요 미관상 깔끔하구요^^;
