Great video - I'm moving my personal site from 7.0 to 7.1, so this was extremely helpful. Just found your channel and have been enjoying your 7.1 content.
Hi, Im just getting into blogging and I love your video. I have a question. If I change my blog page to a new page, will the squarespace subscription box still work or will it now take my new subscribers to a non-existent page?
Hi Paige! I found your video SO helpful for building my website and getting it to look like how I want it! (yay!) Question: I want to create an overlay exactly like you have at 7:40 for my blog page. Could you tell me how or direct me to video where you cover that? Thx! xx
So many great tips, thank you! I have a couple of questions that I am hoping you can help with ASAP: (1) I created a carousel with my blog posts so that I could organize by category, just like you did. However, when I open link editor, I can only select a page, category is not available (all of my blog posts have at least 1 category), so the link just opens to the top of my blog page (2) when I want to share the blog post URL, it includes the old blog page in the URL (makes sense), but I don't want "old blog page layout" visible in th eURL name, suggestions for something cleaner?
HI Paige~ Do you have a tutorial on 'How To' Print out each Page of your Blog Posts? & NOT get any more than JUST each Article? and do this from a MacBook Pro using either Safari or Firefox as your Browser? Thank you
Hey Paige, thank you so much for this. It all finally clicked for me after watching this video. I really appreciate it a lot. It was a full on "ah-ha" moment. :)
Great video! Would you mind sharing how you go the blue border background for your blog posts at 1:55. I love how custom your homepage looks, hoping to have the same after watching your videos!
Hi Paige! thank you for your video :) I have a question: if I've seen that the grid display has a limit of 30 entries, any idea how to make it unlimited? xxxx
Hey Estela! Thankfully you don't! You just change your filter settings inside your summary block to only show the posts you want to show in that section! So if you want a "Beauty" and "Travel" section, just make sure that you have first added those categories to the individual blog posts themselves. Then, just head under the "display" tab of your new section's summary block and set the filter to show only posts with the category "Beauty" or only with the category "Travel!" All your posts can live in one big blog, and you just use tags and categories to tell Squarespace how to organize and display them! Hope that helps! Cheers!
Can someone help me? When I add a blank section I cannot see that little grey dots to click on to get the content block options. What am I doing wrong?
