You never get the rent back. You USED the premises. You don't get the money back. But THEY cannot sue YOU for more rent or for breach of contract and you can leave without notice.

That old lady has got quite a scam going on. But the Plaintiff knew from day 1 what the deal was and took advantage of it. Nope, you don't get to live for free. And that old lady is going to find out the hard way that only her lawyers are going to profit from her ongoing illegal activities.

When Doug asked again, the plaintiff answered, "In my situation, if you need food, clothing, and shelter." Finally, on the third try, he admitted, "No, I didn't." It's evident he likely knew but was attempting to recoup his rent, essentially seeking to live rent-free while anticipating a reimbursement. This suggests that under desperate circumstances, any shelter, even lacking basic amenities like a bathroom or kitchen, might be deemed acceptable. The defendant's behavior is even more condemnable; she was aware of the illegality and continued her actions unabashedly. While I can sympathize with the plaintiff's situation, driven by desperation, the landlord's disregard for basic standards in pursuit of profit is reprehensible. It's disgraceful that she perpetuated this scheme while the rest of us abide by landlord/tenant laws. Ultimately, the plaintiff lost out because he knowingly participated in an unlawful contract, hoping to recover his expenses.

Where is the crime? A guy voluntarily rents a garage. Whether the landlord knew he was living there or not, it was a voluntary transaction between consenting adults. Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to move on, I really loved her so much i can't stop thinking about her and the memories we shared. I've tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail. I'm frustrated, and i don't see my life with anyone else. I've done my best to get rid of the thoughts, but i can't.
