Reagan did the right thing?? What is he talking about. The economy was crap while he was president. Yes it got better later in his Presidency but it wasn't because he did the right thing that I'm aware of. Yes he was likeable so he won the a second term but he also created a country where the rich thrived and everyone else suffered

Would we have 80's 90's without 70's? Boomers enjoyed falling rates and deregulation. From 18% rates. Enjoyed the benefits of ending the gold standard. Got filthy rich. The golden age of finance. But what do we have to show for it? Indoctrinated schools and a bifurcated economy and generation that cannot afford homes. But face a debt burden that must be inflated away while ensuring enough growth to be able to burden that debt. Every 50 years. This time is different. But everytime is different.
