Thank you bud. Yup i try to make audience understand the process. You are good fisherman when you can relate to tide and winds and water. In this trip tbh im surprised. When i saw the water murky, i thought i couldnt get any squid but the man changed my mind. Amazing. It just means that anything could happen when fishing, It's just awesome. Thank you.

Haha it was. Hopefully it will get better. I just heard weather report on radio. La Nina looks like rains over spring and summer.

it was. Luckily the weather was nice and water wasnt choppy or weedy. Wind wasnt too strong.

this morning I was fishing at a nearby beach just wading in the water for salmon/trevally and a squid followed in my 2.5 inch grub. I have it on go pro, I was told there was no squid in that area despite to my logic it being a good habitat. So now I know for sure they are there so I am excited to get some shallow types because the water was only about 2m absolute max but mostly 1.2m I would say. So excited now because I didnt know of any spots within an hour of where I live in SW Vic

wow that's freaking amazing. hahaha i would love to watch that footage. It is exciting because it different. I have never done the beach/wading method. Been talking about it with my buddy but never have done it. Would love to try one day if i can grab a good wadder.

@@squidmasterau I am just using the Amazon ones that were one of the cheapest. I have been up to my belly button in water with socks and tracksuit pants underneath and no issues. If you have some protected area around you without the waves breaking you might have some fun with soft plastics or even for squid. Maybe there are some spots near the piers you fish you can't get to from the pier. Probably be less pressured too
