The candy is name "Dalgona." Street food sold to children at a local playground, candy made by mixing sugar and baking soda. There are several shapes marked, and it is a Korean game that gives one more dalgona candy for free if you separate it well with a needle to prevent it from breaking.🤓

That bathroom scene 😂 A girl gotta have her essentials! (And that lighter is useful) There's often a great use of humour in this series that serves to make everything else seem more terrifying by comparison. For me, this game is far more unsettling than red light green light. Something about the colours and the innocence of their surroundings and the way the playground was supersized to make the adults seem like little children again was unnerving. The sound design was also fantastic. Great use of silence in certain parts. Edit: Forgot about Gi-hun's amazing tongue action 🤣🤣

That second episode was a masterclass in storytelling. Absolutely genius. I’ve noticed that there’s also only 8 triangle guards in the room and the square manager so they can’t watch everyone during the games (also when an announcement is made in the bunk house only the 9 go). I think that has something to do with squids (8 arms and a head?).There was also no rule saying you had to use the needle or couldn’t cheat.

Circles are basically the grunts, they do all the manual work like cooking, labor, and what not. If you’ve noticed, the circles never carry guns so far either. Triangles are like the actual guards of the game, as you can see they wear vests and carry machine guns/pistols and often guard areas. Squares are basically the supervisors of the lower ranks, they are seen managing and giving instructions to both players and other guards more often than any other shape. They also seem to be the only shape that views the game’s through the monitors.

I wanted to add that it is not only your commentary, but also your genuine reactions while watching is great also. Sometimes you are moved to tears by what you are watching, and it is wonderful and genuine. Love it.

I have to say, I'm surprised that so many people picked up this Show just now. After watching it whole, I can say that it's a great piece and I'm interested in whether we get a Season 2, Spin-Off, or whatever - because this on its own was already a great story.

What's got my attention in this episode is player 111 ...... How did he get a hint? I doubt he's in a position to bribe anyone. My guess is that he was planted in there by those who are running the game so they end up keeping all the money. Maybe another player will find this out. You didn't touch on it in the video but when one of the staff reported to the big boss about how many returned, the boss said, "Keep an eye on the ones who didn't return to play and keep him posted" Something is going to happen to them one by one before any matching stories start popping up about a game to the death.

Enjoy this series with you. Going forward: Choosing "English" dub instead of " English CC" will give a more accurate translation.

The English Dub is awful haha I didn't used the English CC but English which is the accurate translation. All the issues were with the CC version from my understand!
