Just walked in the door from taking my girls for a fish, we were going for squid as well, 5 year got a 28 cm flatty, she was pretty happy with herself and putting it back but I couldn't get her to kiss it goodbye 🤣 no squid for us but they love fishing so all good, a safe and happy new year from us all, stay salty 👌

G'day brother I always give it 20mins on a spot for squid if no hits i go fishing, watch your drift speed to fast of a drift your squid jigs not down near the weed, plus work that squid jig.....squid hit it on the drop
