Ciao! The neck of the 40th is incredible. The V5 is very refined but....heavy, very heavy in most cases. So....maybe the 40th. If you have the chance, try the Jet jjb300 I reviewed yesterday. It sounds really really good and the quality is really high. It maybe has the best bridge pickup I've ever tried, no matter the price.
Hi! Many units are around 3,7-3,9. This one I think was slightly heavier but quite comfy. Maybe 4,1 or so. Mine arrives on Monday (seafoam green) and according to the boxing it could be 3,7. I'll tell you if I remember. But in general they are lighter than classic vibes.
Thanks so much for letting me know!...reason is I can't have a heavy instrument on when I am standing...I feel pain in may shoulder! If it comes under 4kg. I really think this is an amazing instrument for the price! If you have the chance to weight it when it comes and let me know it will be much appreciated! Thanks again and keep up the good work!
@@dourtmesdimitris morning! It arrived yesterday. The weight is similar to the P, but the scale died. It must be around 3,8kg. What disappoints is the balance, with clear neck dive. Not sure if getting another or buying light tuners. The sound is also inferior to my Fender and to the 40th P. But I found the American vintage 66 pickups are dirty cheap right now, and maybe I'll keep the bass as a modding platform.
Hello my friend, thanks so much for checking this and letting me know! This has been very helpful in choosing the right bass. It seems that it's a bit disappointing from what you are saying unfortunately. Anyway...I hope you will utilise it in the best way...I am now thinking of the squire CV 60s jazz...or the Sadowsky metro express jazz bass...let's see! Keep up the good work you are doing in your channel. Greetings from Greece..D
