Squier Debut Series Stratocaster - Amazing Budget Strat! 

The Affinity sounded a bit more chimey (higher highs) than the Debut to my ear....I agree, the Debut is a great way to get an actual Stratocaster at a great price. Thanks for the review!

Amazon delivered my sunburst debut strat yesterday.Pretty impressed for the $119.00 price point.The only thing I am going to do is change the strings which are probably 9s to Ernie Ball 10 slinkys. Fun guitar to play.

It'll make for a nice mod platform. A loaded pickguard with alnico v pickups, a vintage bridge with a big block, maybe some locking tuners or kluson split posts. The last thing I need is another Strat, but at $120 I kinda have to get one. I'll go with the sunburst one. My guess is it won't be long before that finish has a natural relic look.

The Affinity has more chime but they both soung good.

Nice video, how does a smaller tremelo impact performance?

This would be handy next to the couch while the $1000 tele rests in its case.

it's a good guitar just the stock picks ups suck.. 120.00 USD give or take & maybe 100 bucks more for fender pickups upgrade , we have a better sounding guitar.. as long as the neck is well made & the frets are well put together is all that matters.. Everything else is just cosmetic

Just bought one.. I got the sun-burst version... IT'S a $120 guitar. don't expect much from it. is it any good? well it is a Fender or backed by Fender, so there is that. everything works. the Tuners are NOT the best, but they work. the one I got does have issues staying in tune. MAYBE because the strings are new and need to be stretched or set.

Tremolo or Vibratos are a system and require an appropriate setup for the type of usage. Just diving it isn’t a good test. If you dive then tune do this repeatedly it will not go out of tune no matter how aggressively you dive. Does this mean it is good , yes and no depends how you use it. As soon as you bend or do a pull up it will go out of tune. If you bend aggressively and tune you will not knock its out of tune no matter how hard you bend, it is good, yes and no depends how you play because as soon as you dive you are out of tune. Does it makes sense now? I just saw a video when someone did the same test to $2000 G&L with a premium vibrato and it went out of tune, so is it bad, …….im not answering at this point you get my point.

can you do a review for the rowin TOP boost ? its the yellow one that has a toggle switch . thanks , and i like that matte red finish - congrats on a new strat . my everyday player is a squire i got at goodwill for 50 usd . i have done some upgrades and i love it. that squire stays in tune more than my american .

I’ve never touched the wham arm of a Strat / Strat copy. It’s designed to be ignored, unless you want instant “Barney Fife” tuning.

Hey check out fender starcaster not stratocaster but starcaster they are pretty cheap also about 120$

A beautiful guitar but the chimest sound is too radical.

Nice video editing, but there is a difference in sound. My mate has a Gibson ES-335 dot - I have a Chinese copy. They sound the same - the only difference is the copy is lighter in weight - and $2500 cheaper. Guitar quality is not in price - not in the materials, the heritage or the history of the makers, but in the person who plays it.

infinity sounded better it had a cleaner sound not muffled that what my ears herd not by much but a difference
