Honestly, I think it does. I just think it plays better and has a slight edge with the pickups (Punchier, possibly hotter pickups too), especially if you play rock, hard rock, and even metal. The only thing I will say is it has less of that trademark Telecaster metallic sound, especially when using a clean channel. So if you want a nice Telecaster that has the traditional sound without breaking the bank, go Sonic. But if you want a hybrid of a traditional Tele sound with a more modern rock guitar vibe, go Thinline. Both play great but I did prefer the feel of the Thinlines neck more. I ended up with the Sonic because I was personally looking for that traditional Tele vibe. I hope this helps. Thank you for the kind words and for watching.
Hey, super grateful for the quick reply and detailed response. Currently living in Vietnam, so I'll aim for the thinline, but if I can't find one for a normalish U.S. price I'll go with the sonic. Your skills give me something to aim for one day in the very distant future 😂. Thanks again.
@@J3Tate you’re so welcome. I really hope you get the guitar that makes you the happiest. Aww thank you so much •blushing•. I so appreciate your kind words. You’ll definitely get there. You might already be. I think we are all super critical of our own playing. Never stop playing music.
