Squirrels are cute. It reminds me of one we raised about almost two years ago named Azura. We didn't know what happened to her mother and when we couldn't find her we raised her. She grew pretty quick, and before you know it, she was ready to go back into the wild. We took her with our other pets for the blessing of the animals on St. Francis's feast day. The priest said that she was the first squirrel he had ever blessed. Then, later on the following year, we let her loose into the wild. She eventually adapted to her surroundings. She lives close to our house and she also found a mate and she had many babies, really a huge family that she wanted to introduce to us. She is still living near us with her big family. We know it's her by the rare white star marking on her chest. We let the priest know how she fared, and he was happy to hear that. But I am glad we were able to help her and release her where she belongs. We still see her to this day just hanging around our house. 😊

What a lovely squirrel. This makes me miss my squirrel friend who used to stand on the kerb outside my window waiting for me to appear and throw some nuts out. Ive moved house now, I wonder is he still waiting there? Thanks for your squirrel videos x
