It’s the quieter version of the full alarm call, this squirrel hears something dangerous outside of our hearing range that it is softly alarming for. If the danger was more eminent the call would get louder. ❤

@@soozer07 aww at least he had a good life with you mate. How long did you have him? I've found they can live upto 20/25 years if well looked after and I've had 1 visit for around 8 years now, never leaves me garden and had live in one of my trees for the 8 years I've known him. So just curious. Or did you release him eventually ?
@@soozer07 do you know how old he was when you first got him mate? I've been hand feeding Ginge for 8 years now and he's a wild squirrel but never leaves my garden. I'll try get a video he's mostly ginger /red but has grey eyebrows now
@@soozer07 also have 1 called Titch. She's been coming for around 6 years. I dried her off in the garden when she couldn't climb up the tree. Her mother came back and carried her back up once the rain had stopped and she still comes today but you can hand feed and stroke Titch now. The mother vanished but Titch and he sister still visit.
