You put God first and went to church , THEN went hunting. I’d say he couldn’t help but bless that trip !!! Enjoyed from Arkansas… I used to hunt a cur dog out of Illinois called SAUER’s Sport, he was a national champion… so much fun..
We use to squirrel hunt after church where I am from too!!! In Southern Illinois this brings back memories but we didn't have dogs! But I coon hunted with the guys from church also ! All those guys are gone now the last one just passed away I have enjoyed this immensely!!!

Curs will hunt anything you train them for from bear, hogs & mountain lions to small game like coons and squirrels. Many people use them as combo dogs for multi species. Some even train them to track wounded deer or find sheds.
Shotguns when trees are bare? Man, you guys are certainly after meat. We'd have one scatter-gunner with us for when the rimfire guys mess up and the tree rat starts running through the trees. Being a transplanted RAZORBACK in southeast Nebraska, squirrel hunting isn't a thing. That being said I get more invites to remove them than I can handle. Let's just say I'm thankful they don't know what they're missing.
