I like how you can hear the echoes when she stops talking because it makes me realize that that echo is like her words (or God's word through her), echoing throughout the world.

15:40 ''You are not an orphan. You have a father and He sent Me. I give you my mother as your mother. You have a home and a family... the Church. You are accepted!'' I love this part. This video is one of the reasons I came back to the Church. After my mother passed away I struggled with my faith. This talk from Sr Bethany Madonna showed me that I am never alone and that no matter what happens or wherever I go, that I have a family in the Church.

I cried and laughed for the whole video. it is so touching

Even with a gread dad, as a man who lost his mom at 11, I needed to hear and recognize a need to be free from that "orphan spirit," particularly regarding how I see God.

I'm a 68 yr. Old adopted at birth. This lecture describes me to a t. Thanks sweet sister, I didn't know about Orphan Spirit. 😢 great talk!

So glad to find nuns with a good sense of humor, grew up at a time when they were always strict (then realized much later on could be because they were school administrators who had to enforce discipline in campuses).

I had no idea about nuns until I saw The Sound of Music on TV. Then in 2008 I was in the city of Sydney so I walked on down to the park to see what was going down with World Youth Day. I met religious workers and I saw relics and a casket containing the remains of a saint who died in the 1920s in Italy. If people ask my religion I state 'Church of England', which is mainly a statement of my ethnicity. Samesex marriage is coming to Australia. That is my reading of the current campaign and postal vote. But the Catholic Church will still persist.

She is such a blessing❣I'm amazed how 3 years after these happened they are "miraculously" finding me. Now I can share and bless others.

Some of us have gone too far, "sinned away our day of grace", as it were. Jesus and the writer of Hebrews even tells us that there are those whom God will never forgive.
