If u even watch his latest report on adani buying mumbai airport from GVK, he runs an agenda against adani, but overlooks why GVk is selling the airport license. As documented GVK being pulled up for monetary fraud by maharashtra govt, but he omits that part as GVK is close to Gandhi's. So u get part of truth in his investigation not the whole.
I have worked with Arnab at Times Now and as opposed to what Vasu said, Arnab is exactly the same shouting personality even off the screen. Working with him and taking your job seriously will send you to depression. Fortunately I never took my job seriously and always laughed at his behaviour but many people working directly with him were really disturbed as far as I observed.
Sure, but he was at Times Now later. There's probably a 10 year gap between the period Vasu is talking about and you working under Arnab. Also adding my wife briefly worked for Arnab, she mirrors Vasu's description. At the same time a cousin who worked for Arnab and corroborates your description. So maybe he changed over time.
A person's true nature is found only when the lure of power is tasted. He's the archetype of a narcissist who was badly bullied in school for being too soft, only to build an unhealthy shadow self that empowers his lust for control.
I like how Vasu is sticking with the basics of journalism. No other BS of RW LW, polarisation and extremism and this and that...he’s simply talking about facts and reporting them without any propaganda or without any masala ingredient.
Why the mocking of the Chinese encroachment though ,Kumar? Are u doubting the 20 Indian soldiers killed ? Where is the data based due diligence ,Kumar ? Have you spoken to the families of the Martyrs ? I am sure they will give you the confirmation that you seem to be needing to call the Chinese incursion as a conflict which it is
Sorabh hats off to you man for bringing interesting people on your channel. I have enjoyed your interactions ranging from stand up comics to authors to journalists. These people have such profound things to say. May be, after you are done with the series, you can come out with an edited book. Keep it going.
The podcast series with Rukmini describing her work on the ISIS beat is some of the best journalism I have ever heard. It is absolutely outstanding. I suggest anyone to listen to it.

Sreenivasan was talking about how reporting of news changed from the 90's till today but it's actually the audience that changed. Change in reporting is the side effect. 300 million came out of poverty and that outnumbered the existing elites.
@Sorabh Pant you asked to put up a comment for whom we want to come for the podcast and I endlessly requesting you to bring some of the Indie Bands of India like Indian Oceans, Parikrama, Raghu Dixit, The Local Train, When Chai Met Toast on board. Also, if you can bring Gaming Streamers specifically PC Streamers and not the PUBG MOBILE Streamers in one of the sessions. There are very good PC streamers naming few RAKAZONE GAMING, HYDRAFLICK, ROBOTM, SKPLZ, TBONE etc. It will be very interesting to listen to these guys too.
It's genuinely not easy to get in touch with so many people tbh - which is bands are tough. As for the PC streamers, I unfortunately don't follow them but, will research and revert.
Sorabh Pant ALWAYS distracts the conversation. Vasu just casually asks how he should address Kumar, and Sorabh goes on his own long tangent about the mechanism by which he decides what to call him. Insane! Let the conversation stick to the point, damn it!

This was such a nice session! But pity I can't show this to my parents because it was in English. Sometimes I wonder this English Hindi divide in India is very problematic. Doesn't allow free flow of information. I hope the NEP addresses this and finishes this divide. We should be knowing at least one regional language well enough to articulate basic things..
There's your problem...y do u think Hindi shd be the alternative to English...wat abt ppl from south ?? We shd have a common language ..nd the one tats helpful and functional ...i.e. English.. Everyone shd be able to learn English..rather than trying to cram Hindi ...

He conveniently forgets that all tabloid news was started by NDTV after Gujarat riots when all NDTV did was to pursue the agenda of Sonia Congress but they failed so miserably at that , they have now made Narendra Modi PM . The only difference in pointing ideological point of view between NDTV and Republic tv is ndtv puts in civilised manner and republic does it openly. But if you see ndtv leaves certain news because "it is not good for their ideology".

Sreenivasan Jain is showing something like his channel is unbiased and others are biased. This whole thing of right grievances started when almost the entire media (intellectuals) started by giving selective news. They pointed fingers at any small misdemeanours by right but omitted the same by left. This whole lid was blown off by explosion of social media.
@@davischerian5307 I have been seeing his reportage since last decade when I was in school, he presents half truths in his investigation , his show truth vs hype brings out commentary or data which he wants to prove and it is always 100% opposite the general conservative consensus. C'mon he blatantly cites data from sources that have anti hindu bias or our pro left. Also his dad was a career diplomat in congress era and who was called by intelligence for anti india activities during our nuclear program.
