🇱🇰 ANURADHAPURA, SRI LANKA - It was Poson Poya when I was in Anuradhapura, the day they commemorate the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka in the 3rd Century BC. Buddhists celebrate the day by giving away food and tea, and you will see me offering ice creams. People visit temples with offerings of flowers and incense to pay homage to the Lord Buddha.
