250g Salted Butter at Room Temperature
250g Sugar
4 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence or Extract
1 Drop of Strawberry Essence and Rose Essence
250g All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 Tsps Baking Powder (sift together with Flour)
Milk 1 Cup or Less

Milk. Yogurt is ok too but I prefer yogurt for muffins. But you can use. It makes the cake moist

In the recipe you wrote 1 cup of milk or less but in the video you said the recipe calls for 1/2 cup of milk but you usually use 3/4 cup? You used the dy ingredients measuring cup in the video. Do you measure the milk with that? Or the liquid measuring cup?

I use the same cup (dry) to measure everything. I used 1/2 cup of milk but you can use up to 1cup depending on the consistency of the batter.

Um, I made it in an 8×8 inch pan but it was too small. The cake domed considerably and I had to lower the heat to 325 F and bake it for another 30 min so that the middle would cook and the edges wouldn't become too crispy. I recommend using a 9×9 cake pan. I bake pretty frequently and I was pretty skeptical about the 8×8 inch pan, but I used it against my better judgment. So, guys to be on the safe side so your cake doesn't overflow, almost like mine did, opt for a larger pan.

Hmm.. You said you used half a cup of milk but we could use less .. Like 3/4 cup.. Which is actually more than 1/2 a cup..😀 just saying..

In your recipe you say add 1/2 cup of milk Then again you say that you use less less than 1/2 then again you mention using 3/4 cup I am a bit confused Did you mean 1/4 cup of milk
