@@user-he4ec2rg1j do nothing, if you don’t know what to do. Don’t do random things that you don’t know the consequences of. Besides above video was not about world. That has nothing to do about “making world better”. It didn’t make Sri Lanka better. It risks the Sri Lanka moving into another Myanmar but two people save it from that disaster , Gota & Ranil. They handled the situation wisely so we have a peaceful country today but there are difficulties. Above protests did nothing but further effected the economy.
@@iamwhoiam798 Sri Lanka have corrupted and traitor government , we here in Serbia know it best. we have aleksandar vucic president of Serbia , most corrupted and biggest traitor ever in history of Serbia , he solded his country and his people. and what is solution for this problem , only massive protests until goverment fall no other option.
Well, SRI Lanka is already a democratic country, it doesn't require any revolution. They need is that their elections are won by economic development, social reforms, etc. Rajapaksa won elections 2 times first time in a hatred campaign against Tamil community, second time against Muslim community. Then these people didn't saw injustice. Now it bite their own 🦶, they are awaking up from sleep. I aspect they don't allow these hatred politics again in their country.
@@manojrajapaksha6842 kollo he just didn't know. Don't let it get to you. Fun fact, my favourite math A/L teacher, and a great pioneer to us students is literally named "Mahinda Rajapaksa". 🤭
@@ahmedhaaqil3903 yeah... I don't know how you peacefully break into the leader's home and swim in his pool, play with his money, and sit in his bed among other things but okay. I mean we've seen various other protests in Sri Lanka because of the rising costs etc so yeah I like that they want their voices heard but they are quite forceful when wanting the government to hear their demands.
@@minniemi9170 my bad, looks like you actually refer to "peaceful" as being "pacifistic". And yes, we have had previous very very pacifistic protests for a month and more at "gotagogama" and "mainagogama". However we were ignored of our demands, and our lifestyke kept deteriorating rapidly, with deaths being counted from simply standing in queues. Despite this, they chose violence against us, and that was the time we chose to hit back (not against the government, just against those who hit us for our pacifistic protests.) Then not soon after, we were completely and utterly ignored, people couldn't even find a single meal for a day and for their family. Ofcourse they would demand their voices to be heard. We Sri Lankans don't really know to burn our selves in mass suicides to be heard (like Indi@), or to start breaking public properties or have a shootout against everyone on sight (like every other nation out there, that I am aware of.) We chose the reasonable route, to get our demands heard by showing the people's power and what we actually own. If we don't deem an individual to be our leader, then most certainly he has no place in the leader's office yes? (President's office or PM's office) Then till we justly get the leader we need at the moment, to sit in those offices and run this Nation. We will have those buildings within our palms, as it belongs to the people. We were stopped in our tracks, fired at, blocked at, etc. But we chose to push through without k¡lling and got our voices heard. And it echoes. I call this peaceful, as we do not haven't done anything unreasonable, immoral nor irresponsible. This my definition, and hope it satisfies your question. (Yes, the pool belongs to the people at the end of the day. If the "leader" wants the _gift that the people gave to him, back_ then he should meat their demands. New leader.) Peace, Salam. 🕊️
@@ahmedhaaqil3903 Well said! From my research, part of the reason Sri Lanka collapsed because it flubbed its energy policy. Fertilizer and food are nothing more than derivatives of energy - rather important ones at that - and Sri Lanka stands as powerful evidence that energy is indeed life, and the absence of energy is death.
