Off late most of the dishes are costly this strated from 2003 onwards specially IT sector jobs vandhone every food court ishtathuku rate adichu vittanunga that's the reason !!! I have eaten 2 idlies for 10 same 1 dosa for 10 during 2001 time la appram dhaan ellam costly aakitaanga now if u go to hotel minimum u have to shell 250 RS !!!

Hi , if you are in trichy, you should try 1. Michael's ice cream 2. Snack shop in the junction of vanapattarai st, and nandhi koil street. I don't know it still exist. 3. Impala for briyani 4. Night street food in NSB rd and thendral Kalai street. I am not from trichy, I am from Pollachi.. But lived there in 2000
Bro.. didn't you try seeval dosai there ... Its nothing but arisi maavu dosai, tastes similar to Rava dosai ... I have had seeval dosai back in 2003 ! dont know whether the dish has been winded up in that shop !! But its One of the best eateries in Sri Rangam... Very Yummy.. Especially their style of sambar vadai, compact pooris and budgeted dosas !!! Authentic Iyengar Style..I love it ....

Came to watch this video after finding this at Top 1 of your video. I am from Dindigul, we used to have a restaurant called rajamani Iyer hotel in Thermutti near Abirami amman temple. They have closed long ago but their Rava dosa and bajji taste still lingers on. Wishing these owners a long life to continue this yeomen service.
MSF review about this place was good so too was yours. Different style. I will definitely visit this place next time I go to Srirangam. Tiffin items look very nice!
Really interesting to see their dedication.!!! but can anyone let me know, why the timings are limited ? and is that time*(2.30 to 5 pm) to have dosa, or puri ?? whereby all consume as lunch items as rice sambar, rasam ?
There is something special about this hotel....years back they used to open the hotel early in the morning at 5am. They used to serve rava pongal and the items showed in this video....the rava pongal is the ultimatum... taste is beyond this world...I'm a pongal lover...this is in my top 5 list....I was sad...used to go 5 or 6 days continuously early in the morning 4.45 am from Tennur...but they were closed...after seeing this video, I found out that they stopped serving in the morning....but I was lucky that I had the experience to visit them early morning...
Srirangam is my native place When we were kids used to have tiffin only in this hotel Can't forget the taste and aroma of poorimasal and rava roast Can't forget the voice of person who used to musically shout from near the table itself "கொழந்தைக்கு ஒரு நெய் ரோஸ்ட்" I keep telling my daughter about this place Thank you very much for this video
