Vishnu Suktam from Rigveda is a culmination of multiple riks from Mandalas first, sixth, seventh and tenth. The riks from the mandalas are as follows: 1.22.17 to 1.22.21, 1.154.01 to 1.154.06, 1.155.01 to 1.155.06, 1.156.01 to 1.156.05, 6.69.01 to 6.69.08, 7.99.01 to 7.99.07, 7.100.01 to 7.100.07, 10.81.3 & 10.184.1.
The word Viṣṇuḥ (विष्णुः) is described as that Supreme Lord who forms the crux of anything existential and, is omnipresent.
Vishnu Suktam from Rigveda begins with describing the Supreme Lord Vishnu creating and being a part of wonderful abodes (or Lokas) of Bhuḥ, Bhuvaḥ, Suvaḥ, Mahaḥ, Jnanaḥ, Tapaḥ and Satyam for spread and expansion of ultimate knowledge through Vedic Scholars(Literate in Vedas). In each of these lokas, Lord Vishnu further gives attention to the creation of three prime elements for the living. Bhuloka for all the living beings to abode in, Antarikshaloka containing the essential elements for existence like air, and Dyuloka containing Sun, stars and other elements emanating light from the Para Brahma. To understand such a Lord Vishnu, one can only learn through seeking ultimate truth (Satyaḥ) and ultimate knowledge (Jnanaḥ) by constant reevaluation of existence using Tarka(Logic).
Vishnu Suktam later describes each one of us to constantly make efforts to understand such a Lord Vishnu. It asserts each one of us to be treading on the path of seeking the ultimate truth and knowledge. Through Dharmic efforts, one later attains Purushaartha (self-realization). Such an aspirant attains knowledge to understand such a Lord Vishnu who is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. One can attain clarity through that knowledge and see the magnificence of Lord Vishnu, just like any living entity would see this world through light. Such a seeker attains the ultimate truth and knowledge to understand the omnipresence of Lord Vishnu right within (Antahkaranaḥ). We sincerely pray to Lord Vishnu to guide the entire humanity towards the path of ultimate knowledge and attain enlightenment through the same.
