Hello Andy and all of You! I just solved it!! The case is that my first camera worked well but I bought another one and tried to connect the new device. It didnt work like in the video above. Than I deleted my working camera and tried to reconnect it imidiately again. It didnt work either. So I did a little of thinking. Yes of course, recently i messed something with my router security! So I went to my router wireless security ( I use WPA2-PSK) and changed encription from EAS to TKIP. And gues what? Both of my cameras are now connected and working!
If you are having this issue try connecting your sricam to your router via LAN cable. Input your wifi password, and set/reset your sricam password. Your sricam should now be back online even if you remove it from the LAN connection. This worked for me.
this doesn’t work on my cam. i wonder why i cannot connect on my cam one day, “device offline” in short. then i tried to remove the device on the sricam app and add it again but did not connect to my wifi even using may cable Lan. Been using my cam with the cable lan since 2019 but i dont know why it dont connect now. even if i do reset the cam or redownload the app try the smart wifi connect or even usb cable lan connection
I can't see how you got option to choose your wifi. Mine connects when my phone is connected to wifi. It doesn't give me option to choose myself in the app
same problem here but now it's functioning well.. first it can't connect to router of internet service provider but i have extra router so i tried to connect it on the first router then luckily i can connect my sricam to 2nd router.. hope it can help you guys

Same problem spent hours trying to connect to wifi...its a simple and easy fix!!!!! Connect camera via ethernet cable from router and set up app again. U plug your ethernet and it auto connect to your wifi. You may have to adjust settings in app to auto connect bit I didnt have to. Full I instructions came from the SriCam website under FAQ
I had the same troubles after 6 months use but now I plugged RJ45 on provider routeur then configure set up as the first time and after wifi is set for camera you unplug and it's done. Bye.
what about sricam models like sp022 that hasn't lan cable? it connected after a painful 2 hours of trying, but it won't show in the app if i don't change the password. Guess what? it keep saying "network error" while doing so. I'll sell it and buy a Yale complete kit.
@@jairusmatriano7161 nagtanong ako sa mga cctv technicians they told me its on the internet most probably maraming gumagamit maraming gadgets kaya ganub di daw maka connect
gros soucis de réseau suite à plusieurs essai " erreur réseau " .. enlever le carte sd ... reset caméra .. désinstaller application puis installer à nouveau ... et voilà wifi marche à nouveau
seems like this is a big problem. i have 4 sp012 for more than 6 months i think and all of a sudden it became offline. had to connect it thru lan cable and it work for 1-2 days. but now it is offline again. my xiaomi dafang is not affected so it isnt about internet or router i think. anyone has a permanent solution?
