Normally I am not much interested in movies or following cine-stars but its really a great honour to write about Sridevi. She is one among the few cine-stars I admire a lot & it has some valid points also. 1. Standing in front of camera is not an easy thing at the age of 4 (that too a kid of 1967) and carrying the fame for 50 years. 2. Updating the skills according to the taste of audience of different generation & different regions. She was a very leading actress in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu & Hindi movies. It's quiet impossible. Many actors who earned fame in one region couldn't shine in other regions, 3. In Indian cinema, normally actresses get limited opportunities & most of them never turn that. She skipped many movies in her career including the great Jurassic park which is a clear indication of her market value, 4. At the age of 15 she became leading heroine (Tamil & Malayalam) & maintained it till 35, 5. Mostly audience will look at actresses for their beauty & dance. Very few movies they can survive with acting skills. She lost her beauty, dance & voice and after 15 years gap she pulled the audience purely by acting skills which normally nobody can achieve, 6. Apart from silver screen she is very good in painting as well. I salute for her skills. RIP Mrs. Sridevi!!!
