Yes same day return. Yes you can also have gondola ride and return back to Srinagar same day.

There is no direct bus or taxi service from Gulmarg to Srinagar. But from tangmarg (14 kms from gulmarg). You will get a shared taxi from gulmarg to tangmarg. And yes there is a regular bus service from tangmarg to srinagar (since locals live here).

Srinagar to Gulmarg we paid Rs 200 per person for return and for Srinagar to pahalgam Rs 480 per person return by shared taxi

@@amanjaiswal469 Line se bachna hain tu take a private cab early morning reach gulmarg before 8am. If you go by public transport you may reach till afternoon.

@@amanjaiswal469 no public transport for botapathri. It's not possible to do gondola and bootapathri on same day and that too using public transport.
