Hi everyone! welcome to cooking with mama A's. In today episode, I'm going to be making fry chicken with sriracha hot sauce. I know this type of hot sauce is very popular and well known for most of us. It really does make the fry chicken taste even better. Nothing it's complicated in this recipe, just follow the ingredient I provided and you going love how the taste turn out. Remember, you can always adjust your spiciness. If you think it's not hot enough for you, add some more. In this recipe, I actually divided into two portion. One with hot, and one without (For the kids). 📌Ingredients for marinate chickens
10 Chicken drumstick or ( Any part of chicken you prefer)
1 TBSP Sugar
1 TBSP + 1 tsp Garlic salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper
📌Ingredients for the flour batter
1 + 1/3 cups All purpose flour
3/4 cups Corn starch
1 + 1/2 Pink salt or (regular salt)
2 tsp Baking powder
2 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp paprika pepper
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 + 1/2 TBSP Sriracha hot sauce
2 eggs
100 - 120 ml water (These are adjustable, if the batter is too thick you can add more water)
**The consistency of the wet flour batter should not be too thick or too runny, just good enough that the batter can hold up on to the chickens
Some Oil for fry
📌Ingredient for the sauce (Optional)
2 TBSP Mayonnaise
1 TBSP Sriracha hot sauce
(You can also add some honey if you like the taste of a little bit sweet)
