You sir are one talented man! The views from the very top are priceless! Very smooth moves! Please keep up the good work. Greetings from Las Vegas my friend 🌴🌴🌴🙏🏼
I was confused for a moment there do to your red and black lanyard cord. Thought you were foot locking with that ART Snake Tail Cord. Seeing more of those in these recent videos.
Really cool! Would love to learn how to do that properly and have it as my job here in Japan:) I only do some self taught tree climbing with a hand ascender+footloop and a grigri. So much fun though. それを仕事にできたら理想だな~
Wow all that turns into those characters? Cool! Dude I don’t trust the gri gri for life support, throw a second tether to your hand ascender for me please
@@docsvet720 alive and well! And surprised to find my own old comment here haha. Unfortunately tree climbing is still not my job! At least I know more now than to trust the Grigri with my life:)
You have a lot dollars rapped up in your equipment. Very nice. Equipment rich. In this video he must have $3,500 dollars in equipment shown in this video.
I got the tether Saturday and you won’t believe how awesome it is ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ If this is something that you guys like I’ll send you the information ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
I’m sure you’ve probably addressed this question before but where did you get those rigging plates for your rope bridge? I use an onyx but I’m not happy with the small holes on the rigging plates
I am changing over to the zigzag for my SRT I want you to tell me in your honest opinion how much do you trust the system?? I would never want to see the bottom connector of the first part of the chain link on the zigzag break
Thank you for watching and good comment. yes. I know Crash accident at training facilities in Germany. This is an improved version. but I do not use this only a few time. : ) I like a Bulldog bone SRT.
It’s Petzl right? Should be fine.. I worry about how many little pieces of metal need to be made perfectly for it to function but hey, it’s not the only thing you tether to when your cutting. Just going up down in a straight line so what can go wrong?
On a single line, with the full weight of a body on one line, prusiks and even some mechanical devices tend to seize (and also slip with high loads). The rope wrench was invented to split the weight of the climber in half, sending half of the load through the tether and half through the prusik or mechanical device. Since Ddrt already splits the load between the two ropes, the wrench is not needed with Ddrt.
the rope wrench serves absolutely no purpose on ascent. its not approved, or reccomended by petzl, or singing tree to use zig zag srt, or with a rope wrench.
