SRV Goulburn Valley Explorer 

the 27/7/24 saw Steamrail return to the Goulburn Valley for the second time in 2024 with the Goulburn Valley Explorer with A2 986 and T356.
To start the day, the Southern Cross bound transfer is captured at Spotswood with the A2 leading tender first to Southern Cross.
The North bound run begins with the train being captured at Oak Park as it climbs up Glenroy Bank, next up sees the train storm up to the top of the divide at Heathcote Junction before then capturing the train is next seen coasting down hill just outside of Tallarook.
after watching the engine being turned at Seymour, the A2 leads the train further north Tender first where it is seen departing Seymour, then capturing the train again at Mangalore, Tabilk, north of Namgambie, Wahring and arriving into Murchison east.
At Murchison east, the A2 runs around its train before moving it into the yard out of the way of normal V line trains.
the return sees the train depart Murchison East before going to Grimwade Rd in Wahring, Aerodrome Rd Mangalore, then after a brief pause at Seymour to allow the A2 to take on water, it is seen departing Seymour, before moving to Dockerys Rd to get the train charging up the grade before getting the train beating through Wallan station.
to round out the Video, the return transfer train is captured at Newport as it slowly approaches the station and continuing on to Newport Workshops.
