The coolest thing is the true final boss theme for OG1 is the late game boss theme of Alpha 1 implying that this was just a taste of what was to come and hinting at all Alpha players the true horror awaiting
@blazestrac lolnub Septuagint is meant to reproduce Judecca and mass produce infinite grunts to exterminate humanity, not win an all out fight. Also Zuphiroude > Judecca.
Judecca was a much harder fight sadly. This one almost made me laugh by comparison. Getting the battle masteries was cake, did it my first playthrough. On Kyosuke's side. Working on Ryusei's so I can get new game plus, but I prefer the ATX team over the SRX. So it's taking me awhile to get into it.
You need a certain number of Battle Mastery points to fight Septuagint. Clear most of them, the number is above 32 or so, but get 35 to be safe, usually SRW games with Battle Mastery points have very little wiggle room in terms of the number you need, you need to clear most of the missions special objectives or you are unable to fight the bonus boss.
It's not so much that you start a second play through. The game gets more difficult/easier the more battle masteries that you have. Of course, if you don't keep up the rate of battle masteries near the end, you'll drop to normal. For instance: Say you get every battle mastery up to mission 32, then just stop doing them for the rest. You would've been in hard for those 32 missions, but as soon as you dip off, even if you met the requirement, the game will go back to normal or even easy.
WHY they waste such a cool and epic boss theme for a CRYSTAL ?????? It's just a rock and it attack so horrible compare to the boss in OG1-OG2 Game !!! You guys agree with me right ????
the fact that the boss is Lvl 80, has massive HP, HP Regen (S), EN Regen (L), Warp Field, extreme accuracy(as in it has 86% chance to hit Latooni in Wildraubtier FM without spirit usage with Omega Wave when I was playing) and camping on a location with 30% HP/EN Regen makes him a really hard boss to kill. Not to mention at certain level of HP it'll summon Huleh-class warships to support it; at another level summon Vayikra Bens to support it and at 50% HP you will have 5 turns to kill it before game over. it can still be a victim to "One-Turn kill" though but he's a really big pain to deal with. EDIT: My bad it's not at 50% HP he gives the countdown; its lower than 50%
That is why you slap her in the 009 (Maxed out Mobility, HP, EN,and Armor) with some cartridges equipped. Frankly the Wildraubtier isn't as good compared to the 009 or R-Gun in terms of potential range damage. I usually keep her as a gun battery outside of the installation with the 009, with her having SP Regeneration + Focus/Sense each turn and have her fire off Boosted Rifle and Remote Slasher rounds. Does work well enough.
@@Ryan91487 huh, neat. Maybe one day, I'll finish one of the damn games. I made it halfway through J , then somehow lost my save data. I stopped OG2 around the time Arado gets dropped off at the Moon. I don't have the patience to deal with Yuuki and Carla rn (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Aside from the boss being a rock, I was very happy to hear infamous The Arrow of Destiny song from SRW Alpha again in GBA. They did real nice job hiding the track to the secret level.
This theme was used in other bosses in that game but earlier games (which is a mecha anime crossover btw) also had but *most* notably played on certain non-OG bosses in Alpha Gaiden such as Shin Getter Robo and Turn X
