@@bobergamer1963 SS13 has a lot of interesting and fun stuff happen all the time, so it's enjoyable to watch and hear stories about. Playing it is a different matter- server issues, janky controls, steep learning curve, etc... it's very niche for a reason.

Same I really like watching it but there's no way in hell I have the time to actually play a game or learn how to play a game or figure out how to get it to run on my computer to begin with

@@j.o.d.mercer7519 getting it running isn't that hard if you don't have a Mac. I say the learning curve is a myth. To play and enjoy the game you just need to know shortcuts and rules. Survival or excelling at a job on the other hand is harder but doing good isn't that hard. For example botanist work can be complex with mutations and chemicals but to just make crops you need to water, cultivate and care for the plants and most people won't expect you to do any better. Also learning usually comes naturally from other more experienced players or just by experimenting.

It's hard to do, not because it's hard to get onto the shuttle but because it's hard to keep the captain from being a stick in the mud and refusing to bomb the Syndicate. There are plenty of times where you are positioned to nuke the syndies, but they never do it because captains are scared and small.

@@peytonalexander5300 Tbh, if you hear that some hardass nuked the syndicates with their own nuke, and he's the only guy on the shuttle with you, and asks for codewords, and then points you to the door YOU TAKE THE DOOR.

It keeps on Station and CentComm levels. Nukies base (and things like abductor's ship) on this level too.

all shuttle transits are in centcom as well, so technically you can keep the disk when transiting to lavaland, but it vanishes the moment it lands
