Funnily enough, this would actually be a really good counter to space marines. (From a purely logic-based perspective. I don't play wh40k) Don't try to pen their armor, just hit their visor with something that they can't wash off. That forces them to remove their helmet, then they're much easier to deal with. Sooooo... The best weapon to counter space marines is vantablack + superglue paintballs. Or space-lube to make a space-marine slip-n-slide.

​@@tamnker8465 Space marines are extraordinarily fast. You're assuming you'll even be able to hit one in the head, let alone in the parts of their helmet's visor that'd obscure their vision. Space marines have dodged and reacted to bolter rounds, which are stated to be supersonic, or in some cases, hypersonic. That is a relatively low-end feat considering some of the absurd statements across other books. Unless you're shooting some serious paintball rounds at them, they'll just avoid them subconsciously. Space lube is also a funny one. There are statements that actually describe the nature of space marine boots. According to one such statement, their boots are specially designed to be extremely adhesive, disallowing any kind of slippage. They also possess internal magnets, so they'd operate like magboots do in-game; they'd prevent slips. Furthermore, their visors are augmented in such a way that, even if they were to be obscured, they'd be able to see from other devices connected to the visor, such as their bolter.

@@mesotolioma5089 when your char gets to 0 hp they reach at the deaths door gate effect. Each hit will have a chance to kill them but resistance to death blow decreases the chance

I do t quite get why the golem got banned. What did he do wrong, exactly? He was just trying to stop the cult was he just supposed to sit there and do nothing? Genuine question

​@@alwinwinter1645 Lavaland golems are ghost roles, which is more or less a self contained option for dead players. By which I mean they aren't and shouldn't be concerned with station affairs and are usually in their own Z level. That Lavaland golem was a player abusing this respawn to undermine their death and use info from their past life to kill the cult, which is metagaming

You can modify the products of just about any crop to produce potassium (extracted from bannana), and water (extracted from watermelon). When harvested, the crop will immediately resolve the potassium-water reaction. The higher the potency the larger the reaction. I've done it before with tomatoes.

@@LilSmoky92 If the reaction's explosion deals damage in excess of the health of the hydroponics tray, yes. You have the potential to scale the chemicals involved by adjusting the crop's potency. Different crops have different maximum volumes of chemicals they can contain, just like a beaker, which can be improved with the Densified Chemicals trait. Given all of that, I think the strongest reaction you could make could expose the tile to space.

@@LilSmoky92 Also keep in mind: When a tray is harvested the crops are placed on the tile the user is standing on, not the same tile as the tray. That tile would be the origin of the explosion, not the tray. If the user uses a plant bag to harvest the crop, the origin of the explosion will be the character.

a free golem wouldn't have a reason to go out of his way to blow up a cult in the satellite. The lavaland golem very clearly went that role to come back onto station to fight. if a golem's creator told him something like keep the creator alive or protect the station, it would be fine. Golems suppose to take their one rule pretty seriously and that one was just trying to respawn.

black boxes, irl and in game, record a ton of stuff, in regards to ss13, the black box actually records the rounds logs, you cant access it in game though when in the recorder machine you can read pda message history and stuff from the console, because of this tots get an objective to steal it, but it doesnt fit in non-bluespace bags sou you have to actually carry it, hence tots rarely actually follow this objective
