Foodies.. another must-visit night market, it is located in Petaling Jaya ~ SS2. Mainly Chinese stalls and there is a lot of street food here. Other than that, you can also buy some fresh fruits and vegetables. As somebody who grew up in pj, ss2 nite market is one of my favourite ones. I look fwd for my mum to fetch me frm school and we will stopby here for fruits and snacks. Thats almost 30 yrs ago. I must come and visit again soon :)
I grew up in SS2 and used to run errands for my my grandfather at the night market. I still remember the young man fronting the fried carrot cake stall - he was full of pimples I figured must’ve been from the daily oil exposure 😂 Amazing to still see the same man at 3:47, much older now of course. It was 40 years ago. How time flies and the nostalgia!

Looks like inflation in Msia quite bad compared to last year, worse than here in US. But most items you profile are either not available here, or cost about usd3-15 each. Very stable, interesting and good video. Closest comparable high quality channel on food there is Food Hunter.

SS2 night mkt is always a great place to find snacks and local favourites and has a long long history. However, the one thing i find such a turnoff is the man putting piping hot fried carrot cake in a plastic bag 🤨cheers

Honestly , the reviewed locations are not note worthy to say the least . Currently SS2 night market was the least appetizing and the most expensive to shop in !!
