Ally takes notes of the little things, that's what makes him very smart. Ally's Notebook 1)M2K never sees Dsmash 2)Rolls when at high percent 3)If he can't tornado or come on stage with fair he jumps. So Ally devised a plan... Set a mine on the corner of the platform if he jumps from the edge, throw two grenades under so he can't nado. This forces him to back roll, Ally shield grabbed just to be safe. Grab release, GG.
A note to the Brawl players... Melee players comment and hate on this, right? If our game is so bad, why are they here watching this video when they could be watching Melee? Hmm...
RANT : Melee doesn't take more skill either. You have guaranteed combos with hitstun, and you cheer for chain grabs. I've played both Melee and Brawl, it's easier to do a guaranteed shine spike kill than it is to read a defensive player. Get your scrub tails out and make a SmashBoards account.
No Lost Troll? It's true... Take wavedashing, for instance... Sakurai knew it was in the game, but he never intended to have it there, nor for it to be used by players. He didn't remove it because he didn't think it would be discovered/used. I'm posing a legitimate argument here... At least give me a proper answer...
People be saying ally is being carried by snake in smash ultimate but this is proof right here that he's been skilled with snake long before he got put into ultimate
I like how noticable the vocal minority is on Brawl videos. Some Melee players are so hateful, and just have to make their personal preference law for everyone else. It's really sad. :[
I used to think that high levels required a gc controller, but in brawl you can still use a wiimote if you want (project m needs a gc controller or even a classic pro controller because of wavedashing, cancelling and that kind of stuff), it will just be a little be harder to learn.
And you're a fool for assuming I'm a fool for a mere assumption. I would *totally* know about the actual mental state about the person whilst they were typing on their keyboards. I was making my statements based on what the fellow was typing. Also, old comment is old.
The fact that a mere comment is getting you off is a bit sad. I think the likes on the comment you see only indicate that the people who read that knew the intent of what I wrote. To take it seriously is borderline lunacy. G'day.
As if this game weren't bad enough, there's the worst commentators to boot. "Oh man down throw, he threw him. Oh man he almost made it back. Oh wow he down threw him." "You just called all those downthrows, haha." -_-
ouch! but I bet it's true. Brawl is slower and I guess it allows those slow minded players to keep up. Melee is so fast and so much more thrill to the matches MANGO! ARMADA! EGGZ! SILENT WOLF!
Yeah I did exaggerate; the comment was a hyperbolic one to highlight the actual fact that indeed the metagame of Brawl seems to be going SOMEWHERE.. Good lord people lol.
I know its kinda unrelated. Pause at 4:43. ...Poor Mew2king... He's going bald already.... Holy Shit. I feel old. I never thought I'd see the day. Great job to both players.
That 2nd reply was to your second comment which seems to have been removed. But alright. No need for an apology. Wasn't much of an issue anyway. Peace.
RU-vid's "Interactive Transcript" keeps transcribing "the stage" as "Tuesday." Of course it's also totally wrong in all other regards, but that's a highlight.
For the record,Brawl requires a smart mind. You have to predict constantly for a string of attacks. In melee you just have to haw quick fingers and function with the hitstun.
Seeing Delphino Plaza as a legal stage makes me very happy. I wish it was legal in Ultimate, but there are way too many hazards unfortunately. Delphino is always one of my favorite stages in Smash games!
Curiosity. "Hey, let's see if Brawl's metagame has improved." Decisions made from that point after X minutes of watching lead to comments. To be honest, I think a lot of Melee players are resentful towards Brawl. Suddenly, the game almost completely replaced Melee. I, for example, didn't ever have a good experience with Brawl. I preordered it and waited in line, then gave it away after a week, and nothing ever really changed that initial impression of the game. I imagine others are the same.
I really liked this set surprisingly with a Snake and MK but it's Ally vs M2K so it's gotta be interesting. Plus Keitaro is commentating so it makes the matches 10 times better to watch.
