Hello everyone! today I explain some setups on Snake's throws and what is good and what we could do to make them better/evolve! Ultimate flex: Get your opponent to 250%+ on their last stock without killing them, then up-throw choke slam them into the blast zone.

The biggest problem I have with Snake is his disadvantage states. He's just so easy to juggle.

For what it's worth, I think the actual DThrow-->UTilt percent is 159.2%. Might not seem like it matters, but that's one full pummel different, and it's often that your opponent will only need one more pummel to mash out of the throw.

INCORRECT! The magic percent isn't 160% for down throw up tilt. It's actually 159.2%. It may save you a pummel where they could get out.

@@PoppinSwiss I don't know if this is still current but as on 8.1 I have found that 160% down throw uptilt doesn't always work but it could be bad timing on my part.

@@pickles7386 its more than likely bad timing or you were on a slanted stage like lylat slants or yoshis story. i havent dropped one yet tbh.

@@PoppinSwiss Yeah I figured it was a me problem, I knew about the Lylat issue from your video, I think also I try and down throw them at 150ish then relying on the down throw dmg to be enough to up tilt but I don't think it works that way. cheers for the reply!

@@pickles7386 no problem. If this might help, what I do is when they're at 160 I do the down throw and while snake is doing the down throw animation I'll hold up on the stick and just mash the A button to get the up tilt.

I believe sticky c4 on opponent -> bthrow is true. This only works with bthrow for some reason (which i suppose confirms your theory that bthrow is faster)

Up throw to sticky it's true at 0 % I think, that's also something to consider.

@@PoppinSwiss No prob dude, note that to do the sticky you don't have to jump, just press down b immediately after the up thrown. Try it and let me know if it works for you. Somehow the hurtbox extends or something like that after the up thrown and that's why you can do it without the need of jumping. Then again of course, this only works at very low %. Mostly at 0. BTW keep it up with your videos bro 👌🏻👍🏻

I like using throws to get them off the stage so I can pull out the nikita. Even if I cant kill, I can frustrate them and do a lot of damage before they get back to the stage.

Yeah I normally will throw them offstage too for that reason
