I love how in game 3, n0ne knows that Cody is pissed off about getting drop zone knee'd on stock 2, so he *knows* that he'll DI out when he dthrows him on stock 3, and he just dashes off, double jump knees with absolutely no hesitation to catch him
Not just that but in game one and two most of cody’s offstage mixups started with a jump and ended at the ledge. He covered multiple options and may have been able to jump back or switch to upair if the situation called for it. The thing the ga players taught me was it was good to upb immediately and save the jump or start jump>instant upb to change the position of the candle a little
Nice catch and also nicely worded None's mental game is freaking insane I think he must have reached a peak of no emotion through rigorous training as to maximize his game. Some sort of Ultra Instinct this guy is too damn much!
none is literally a god, when people start to question if he is a top player, he silences them real quick. His playstyle is one of the most original and hype of any player of all time.
I did this once on accident too playing at home and idk what i did and i still dont know what the conditions have to be for it to happen its just weird to me
ChuChuTrain What’s happening is that one character is pushed off the level, and then the character that is pushed off immediately airdodges into the stage, creating a weird looking slide-type movement. In this case, Falcon slid off because of the way Fox’s model moves during usmash. Falcon was so close to Fox in the first place because he rolled right next to Fox, so Falcon wasn’t being pushed away until his invincibility ran out. Right after being pushed off, n0ne airdodged directly to the left (more than likely a roll input) which placed him right back where he was. This only happens on Yoshi’s Story cause the slants of the stage right next to the ledges allow characters to air dodge back on.
Watch it back frame by frame. You can see n0ne get invulnerability frames literally the frame b4 the back part of fox's leg hits him probably for the sour hit, which still could have been significant. Just crazy.
Gotta watch the whole set bro to appreciate the culmination of tilt built up by IBDW. That juxtaposed with the blood hound none making reads like its his job.. hold on i cant even call some of those reads... he just knew. Poetic display from none.
The last game was insane. Absolutely insane. I've never seen something like this before tbh. Holy shit nobody would have liked to be None's opponent at this very moment. Anyone would be salty af.
Idk, as a shitty player comparitively id rather be destroyed by a cool player than none than like camped out or something. I dont expect to win and i would like to see how crazy big the gap is
As a fox player, I can tell you exactly what Cody was thinking: literally none of this is my fault, lol. It wasn't! None was getting absurd reads on IBDW's mixups and there's just...not much you can do about a player being on like that. I'd be salty as all hell.
I bet you he was seeing if the hit stun would last long enough to single hit Nair - forward tilt - weak knee - upair. But decided to just take the knee
From first input to last "Game!" on screen, it took 7 minutes and 2 seconds. n0ne went HAM this set. Good job on 7th Cody! New York! New York! New York!
Oh my god... This was one of the most savage downloads I have ever seen in a fighting game. You see it progress slowly until the third match and then...
Oh yeah for sure he would have, but at the same time, making your opponent lose composure is what I think what n0ne does best // like if you watch n0ne vs leffen at smash and splash 3 he almost takes the set off him just by fear alone
@@itsFuse20 Agreed. That is n0ne's entire play. He goes for the most unconventional options that it must frustrate players, making them think, 'Why the hell did I get hit by that?' despite n0ne being calculated with it.
This is the first time i have seen iBDW so salty, like you can just feel his anger/frustration towards C.F players. Hopefully he grows out of it and finds a way to play against them properly.
Not sure i follow you. A guy who’s playing the “best” character gets mad because he not only got outplayed, but it was versus a character that has good matchups against Fox?
One of the things that makes n0ne great is not any particular move. All of falcons move are used by S2J and Wizzy, but they are not like n0ne. He has, at times, nearly unmatched versatility, adaptability, and improvisational sequences that can even make a pro player look like they are new to the game. He has virtually no fear in any option and can pull the trigger. Dare I say, this moment st least is reminiscent of Daigo Umehara perfect parry. Game 3: 1. Backwards jump bair, double jump up air, wall jump up air, up b onto randall, backwards full hop soft knee (fair), double jump up air, up b ledge hog. Like bro. 2. Turnaround short hop knee (fair), down throw, drop zone knee (fair). 3. Double dair, pivot grab down throw, fall off double jump knee (fair). Reading the hell out of iBDW's double jump. 4. Up air bait, bair, bair, bair. Jesus.
6:31 Absolutely gobsmacked at this combo. My jaw dropped. I'm watching this at work and my boss walked in on me with the look of stupefied amazement on my face. So hyped! 🔥🔥
