It hasn't been debunked. None of the debunkers like Schmee know nothing of the run (outside what has been presented in the unfortunate video released by the company), they were not there with them. They are just assuming from the footage which is not valid enough to be considered valid.

I admit to agree that the edit is showing the 2nd record run and they have placed the ride data from the 3rd run on the screens and infrographics. And even the driver said in the last run he struggled way too much (yet he hit crazy speed but tried to focus just on the steering of the car and keeping it on the road) and the car was very very instable due to the strong wind that occured during the last 2 runs, and so not so presentable for the eyes of the viewer. So they just took the second run and put the numbers from the 3rd run. Which is cheating-sort of... But still you are calling out SSC North America like you're an expert (and yet you're just poorly parroting what Tim or guys from Apex Taxi were reffering to based on just the video which the editors of SSC North America have "cooked up" and so that is the reason why it doesn't fit. Yet in that video the Tuatara is doing 301 mph clearly according to that blurred out dash... Wait for the documentary before you start kicking into everyone on the internet... Since Bugatti say they won't be doing any more attempts this could actually be possible now. No reason now to lock other companies out if they were before.

I think nevada is probably better because the higher altitude, while less power is also way less air resistance.

@Amarjit Singh ehra lessien is more than enough, the Hennessy Venom gt beat the Bugatti Veyron ss speed in just two miles, also the track is a loop you could start out at a relatively high speed and go full throttle when you are on the straight.

I bet they're about the do another speed record with some of their future models (maybe they will attempt it with the Bugatti Bolide which has been just released)... We'll see

They did 3 runs 1st- 287 mph 2nd - 301 mph Average top speed - 293 mph 3rd run - 331 mph ( Which is doubtful and everyone is confused because what happend while 3rd run is not sure ) Average of 2nd - 3rd run - 316 mph

@@besfrelinyourarea3560 In the video the blurred speedometer was showing a little over 300 mph. Maybe it was the second run... And the 3rd run was compromised somehow and so they decided to use the footage from the second run. Anyways the documentary should make it clear for everyone whether they reached acclameid top speed of 331 mph or not...

@@ajinkyagaikwad26 That's exactly what I thought and wrote in my earlier comment. That on the video there is the 2nd run where they hit (also clearly visibly on the vid, according to the dash). And indeed it looked like the car had more to give... And the 3rd run was the one where they actuallly hit that 331 mph but since it was a dangerous and dramatic run they decided not to use the footage as it would make the car look bad in some way, here due to the strong wind moving the car strongly around the road... I believe them. Indeed thay have set the record and also they have done 331 mph in the last run. They just didnt show the fastest run for it dramacity which could dillute some of the awe from their amazing record.

Ooops too late! Everyone knows he was complicit now, due to all the deceptions wrapped up in the edit and blurred dash. No way you can film and produce a video like that, without being in on the scam. Pretty sure he’d have signed an NDA, or he’d have voiced his side of the ‘story’ like he has on other situations.

It wasn't the video of the run that was sped up 1.48 times. It was the display of the gps speed in the video. Whomever was in control of the speed readout/display is the proverbial ball-dropper - whether deliberately or accidentally. I suspect Drive+ was only responsible for syncing the footage with the data that they were provided with. However, Drive+ would have a hell of a lot to gain by doctoring this "record". If Buddy can show that he/his team noticed major discrepancies in the speed and expressed those discrepancies to SSC prior to editing/publishing the video, that would clear them of any fishy business. You think buddy would clear things up immediately in order to salvage his reputation... I guess his silence speaks volumes. Well, Koenigsegg has like 300 employees, and ssc only has 24 employees. Ssc is still amazing to achieve this with 24 people

It needed 10 years to put this car into production! Koenigseggs are more refined and quality, but still SSC Tuatara is not a bad car at all! Jerod told Supercar Blondie, the car is still able to drive smooth in daily traffic. Interior quality isn't bad too! Soo... I personally would take a SSC Tuatara over any older Koenigsegg! Jesko? Not sure... also a nice car!😉👍

You can't use who has more employees as a way to judge quality. This is a multi million dollar car has to be as good as any hypercar engineering wise to justify itself. 30 employees or 1000 imaterial in that regard
