IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ANY VOTEX USER: You will probably have problems following stating the game and then changing the values to false, as you never re-enabled the plugins in the plugins tab (below the mods tab). The actual fix for Vortex users is: 1. Update the other mods (If even applicable) 2. Download Engine Fixes 3. DO NOT START THE GAME 3.1 If you already started the game, tick back on the plugins that got turned of by Engine Fixes, kinda hard to expect that and I don't blaim anyone for getting confused, that only happens with this mod 4. Go to the .toml file and put the setting on false 5. Start your game Recommending A CLEAN REINSTALL for someone like me who already downlaoded 250 mods over the last weeks is pretty unhelpful, if the problem is actually easier. Its also not a problem with second life. The plugins being turned off while the mods are still on is just very counter intuitive.

Thank you so much man!! It fixed the problem for me. I was getting crashes to desktop whenever I clicked on journal or escape button and it was maddening. This completely fixed it. Thank you so much

Not sure if this helps anyone reading but NAT 3 mod was the issue for me, ended up disabling anything related to NAT 3 mod and it fixed my issue. Though your step by step will help me with future issues im sure. thank you so much !!!

YAY my game finally working with sse engine fixes!I was playing a long time without these fixes, because my game always crashed while I have it enabled. I reinstalled a lot of times all two parts, skse library and finnaly skse ( I have lost my saves, if somebody have the same problem, you should copy the saves from c/ my games/ skyrim se to the skse folder for saves. Just saw that there is no visible saves in the MO. And maybe the problem was in that last 3 changes, 3 option which I successfully disabled and now everything okay. Saves is working! I just thought it will make my menu/inventory displaying faster, because there is some slightly freezes while opening, but nothing changed. Okay..........:Р

I have an issue with the part 2 for sse engine fixes. My skyrim is currently ctd and im trying to solve the issue atm but the three dll files disappear everytime my game crashes so i have to re add them everytime. Is there a way to fix this?

SSE engine fixes is making it so i cannot use alternate start SKYUI or SSE Patch. I'm on 1.6.1130.0 it for some reason is deactivating some mods and I've lost my mind trying to fix it and I'm about to delete Skyrim completely, I'm at my wits end. and unfortunately the video didn't help either... :(

don't know if this will work but have you check your "overwrite" file? there is usually a .toml file there too and MO usually prioritize the override file than the mods file that's how i fixed mine anyway

I’m currently using Second Life mod and it works fine. I’m not familiar with Vortex, but if you don’t have many mods I’d recommend just doing a clean wipe of Skyrim and Vortex and reinstalling Skyrim and using MO2 using this guide: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Det57ew7piY.htmlsi=yrSUgUR-xFzXxMFp. Then after watching that video, watch this video next: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pj7enUTiLjg.htmlsi=wMqFStiVuEzTri6o . After watching those two videos down to the teeth, then use my video guide to fix the SSE ENGINE FIX MOD. If you don’t want to do that, here is some information: If it’s turning off all your mods then the problem is the SSE Engine Fix, if it’s just your Second Life mod that’s disabling, then that mod alone is the issue, meaning Second Life is either conflicting with another mod or not in the correct load order. If it’s conflicting, make sure it’s the newest version and reinstall mods to bring up their FOMOD (their user friendly install menu) because FOMODS contain patches for conflicting mods. You can also just leave a post for the Author of SSE Engine Fixes on Nexus and he’ll respond to you in less than 24 hrs.

Since I don't know what modification you've done with your files, I'd recommend doing a clean wipe of Skyrim and Mod Organizer 2, basically starting completely fresh.
