[SSF2 BETA 1.3.1] Update Announcement 

Final Smash meters, new animation revisions, new sprites, new stages that look better and better, and even improving old stages visuals. The amount of effort you guys do to this game is insane.

I’m totally loving this update for SSF2 Beta that features Final Smash Meter that I been using from Ultimate, new improved resprite animations with Bandana Dee + Isaac, and a new Rayman stage was really likes from Rayman Origins, but it’s from Rayman 2 I suppose. I’ve been waiting for this ever since I went through their twitter posts for all weekends.

I remember this game from the very beginning. The early days of this game were great. I played this as a kid in school and was one of the best moments of my life. Actually it goti me into smash bros more now that I have Ultimate. Just goes to show how one little project from months and years ago, grows into something big, for every smash fan alike. Kudos to the dev team and everyone else for keeping this game alive. It makes you think, doesn't it? All these years, the same game we grew up with many months ago, is still being alive and well.

Let's all face it. Lloyd REALLY needs a Resprite very soon. He is starting to age like fine wine. But, this update is awesome!

I know it's been said before but it needs to be stated again That Rayman stage is just *(mwah)* perfect~ The aesthetics look like a beautiful fusion of Rayman 1, 2, and Legends' art styles. I hope we can see more Rayman cameos along with Globox. Like maybe Murfy, the Teensies, the Bubble Dreamer, ect.

Dang, that song is so good. I never liked the slow songs in SSF2, so this one is great. Also, yes! FS Meter!

Can't wait to see how they update Goku and Lloyd

Bro I’ve been in love with this game since 2012 and it’s been great seeing what they’ve done and how far they came, like this feels like a genuine smash game and I love it one of the best smash fan games

I love Krystal's Final Smash because as kids me and my brother would play Star Fox Assault's 2 player and one of our favorite things was getting that firecracker barrel on a Arwing and carpet bomb each other.

Jesus even with development going on with Fraymakers they STILL had time to work on a new update? I thought this series was going to be scarce on that for a while. Kudos to them!

Good morning to the Super Super Flash 2 development team, I have come to tell you that the game is looking very good, keep up the good work.

This is a nice update, i'm just waiting for that meta knight re-sprite because boy does he need one.

This is truly amazing, not only the update but the fact that people are appreciating it and not just requesting for random characters to join to the game like they have for years. I'll be honest though, I am definitely waiting for Goku's costumes to come out and hella excited for all the references and alternate versions featured. Amazing presentation and im hyped for what's next! But like where is Knuckles?

I feel like with this update all of the missing gaps have been filled. Now all we can do from here as add more content to this game which is honestly exciting I remember playing the flash version on my laptop...my first ever introduction to smash as a whole. Its great to see the fan game I played as a child come all this way too my teenage years. I can't wait till more content is added to this amazing game

Adventure Mode: The Flash Of Shadows, abbreviated as FoS, was the planned downloadable "story mode" extension for the downloadable version of Super Smash Flash 2. Based on The Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it would have consisted of various levels in the style of a side-scrolling platformer in which the player must reach the end of each level while fighting enemies and bosses. Additionally, a story would have been told through pre-rendered cutscenes during and between levels. The story had been developed by several of the game's developers known internally as "The Flash Of Shadows Writers", led by Suliboy. The story was planned to be about a group of heroes' struggle to defeat a "Shadowy Man" known as Umbra, along with their army of minions known as the CuBots. Characters would join the player's party according to the story, and allowing unlockable characters to join the party would unlock them. Due to changes in the development team in late 2010 following the release of v0.6 of the demo, the current story was deemed absurd and obsolete, being scrapped altogether, and the mode itself was quietly scrapped shortly after. On March 23, 2018, developer James Hadden confirmed in an interview that a story mode is now highly unlikely, albeit still possible, to be created for SSF2 in the future.

It will be very good xd with the new final blows of ganonfort although the one of kristal has not yet been invented they have not yet released details about it and it will be good to unlock new esenarios

This is great thank you! I hope you guys add wizard Ganondorf (Ocarina of Time), Majora (Skull Kid), Vaati, and Majora’s Mask Link (stance fighter with the different transformation masks). I want many others of course but I think those are some of my top choices. My top choice is KOS-MOS (her Xenosaga iteration, not from Xenoblade). After that Grahf (Xenogears) and Albert Wesker (Resident Evil). Also Kefka (Final Fantasy VI) and Kain (Final Fantasy IV) please!

ssf2 will evolve from update to update and desifro that will surpass super smach bros ultimate so the Japanese Shigeru Miyamoto will have to invent another smach xd

Just played it yesterday, the fairy glade stage is amazing and feels just like what i feel like a legit rayman stage would feel like in smash bros well done smash bros flash team, also not sure if your working on getting crash made in the game later would be nice as well no rush, also can't wait too see Shantae and her level once their available as well. Also would love to see Earthworm Jim in this game as well, as i said before though amazing job this has come a long way since i played this back in high school 10/10.

smash flash 2 is great and i love it a lot. my one and only gripe is the mega man rework, like his main special being changable was so good! it was very nice, his moveset just felt unique cause it was different than regular smash bros
