Viper is a tricky character she jumps on different angles just like Vega..not much Daigo can do but maybe grab Uyro a few times like the way Uyro did to him, :) Anyway great match :D
It seems to me like Diago had finally learned Uryo's style and was nutralizing it with the Jumping Fierce. But he was still rushing him down with reckless abandon even when Uryo had a Ultra. Because Uryo was Consistant with Punishing every one of Diago mistakes with that Ultra. Whether it be a missed DP or jumping over a fireball. As soon as Diago saw the ultra he should have backed off a little. Just my opinion.
I don't see how people can say Diago is losing it. People lose, no one is undefeated in SSFIV. Also, he took evo, that proves he can still bring it home.
@solidbeaver Not entirely true, due to the fact that in this game, some negatives arent really exploitable. You say Ryu isn't really bad at anything, which is true. But look at Honda. The only negative I can think of right now is his somewhat lack of offense, but its not really exploitable due to the fact that Honda plays such good defense.
@solidbeaver da reason der are so many ryu users is becuz its a new gen of players and ryus moves r da easiest to especially kens so jezz were sorry we dont spend hours playing 1 game trying to do left right punch for hours we have stuff to do
@oOxRampagexOo yeah you just cant mash out an srk every time some heat is on you like you can with ryu and ken fei long's flame kick whiffs alot and rose has no bailout dp move thats why xbox live and psn is flooded with ken and ryu players they are easy mode characters plain and simple
i have to admit tht was a great match. im not a daigo fan and during the whole tounament i was looking out for each others game play and not the wins. it is obvious that uryo was the better player in terms of game play but daigo is more skilled. daigo has proven his self more than 5 times that he can win international tournaments thats why he is the best but i think uryo viper has the skils to beat daigo all day and daigo would still win mor tounaments than him. thas facts
The right player won IMO :) Uryo has got to be the player with maybe the best execution in the World atm and def has crazy skills. Daigo has the best Ryu but isn't the best player if you ask me
@PotbellyPunch You don't know what you're talking about. If anything, Daigo is showing to always be improving. But it's not like everyone else is just sleeping while he's doing that. Japanese competition is very fierce, there's many very high level players that can beat Daigo. That doesn't imply Daigo being overrated.
I don't care what anyone says about Ryu. To me he is the best in the game just because even if he doesn't stand out in anything, he doesn't suck at anything either. If it's in good hands (like Daigo's) it can beat any player. What happened in this match is Daigo lost. That's all.
@SonofSolom0n it would not have mattered if uryo beat daigo 20 times instead of 10 because your going to be on his nuts regardless... so let me guess you play with ryu right???
even the best has to lose some. damn great matches though! madd hype around these matches. vipers mixups are insane. i've always had a hard time versing her.
@PotbellyPunch uryo has always been on diagos level. look at all the other tournaments between diago and uryo in the past. daigo isnt over rated. he is actually 1 of the best ryus in the world. japan players are capable of being on his level. but the U.S. probably isnt,so hopefully jwong or marn can step it up.
@KaanPensatore1986 lol he didn't lose that shit on purpose he cracked like a cheap vase his mind was fucked by the viper mixups. Daigo is overrated. He's shown it in the last few weeks. Glad other players are stepping up to the plate and showing they're at his level or better.

@SonofSolom0n dude he is not the best in the world you daigo fanboys dont seem to notice how he always get his ass beat when he fights guys like momochi and mago and uryo was making him look like just another ryu scrub if daigo was doing what he is doing with a character like rose or fei long or any other technical character then i might respect him but i cant call anyone the best in the world when they use the easiest damn character on the game and fyi uryo is better than him also
@asianaxeman 90% of people play ken or ryu online? NINETY percent? Do you know how much is 90%? link me to the page that states what you just said. And the fact you didn't know they nerfed Ryu shows you don't know much about the game since that is one of the most known AE nerfs, regardless if you care or not about Ryu. And by the way, the reason it's "soooooo fkn boring" for you it's because you probably only play online and find the "scrubs" you are talking about all day. not real players.
@DAIGOMADCATTZ Your username says it all about how u think Daigo is superior to every player. People have figured him out now and he is no longer a factor to most players now. Daigo even knows this himself. Why do you think he doesn't upload his replays on AE?
