From a homie with smersh to another, you'll love when ya move the smaller strap from the front of the mags to the lower d-rings. Set it snug like a regular belt. It'll hardly ever move.
I've had my Smersh from Grey Shop for several years. It's one of my favorite pieces i don't go anywhere without when I'm going shooting, I also got the Fort Defender 2 vest from GS (with just some foam inserts) and converted it to use US plates. I also got someone to convert some old NYPD 3A kevlar to fit using the dimensions of the foam inserts. Came out amazing with the bonus I can actually trust it would work.
Russian Smersh or British PLCE is the way to go! Excellant video! I agree keep front torso/hips free of equipment! nothing breaks or fall out. Stay as low to ground as possible. Don't have raise up to expose yourself getting a rifle mag. But I agree with having a pistol holster in front would fine along with a couple of pistol mags. Thanks!
I was thinking the same thing of what if the belt kit and the body armor together and now watching this video, want me to buy the belt kit even more so thank you for this video. ❤ 👍
If you run a AK def something like this is the best method in my opinion, I’ve tried multiple different placards for 7.62 and I also run some thick level 4 plates in a somewhat slick carrier and I cannot find a single placard I’ve personally liked and felt comfortable with versus running some sort of a rig like this , and there is multiple options out there I like this one but I also really enjoy the crossfire dz rig
Man I wish I could find an actual smersh. These things are perfect for ak rigs, till a certain little fight across the world made these rare as diamonds
