Ohhh, I'm really glad they're not forgetting about gameplay quality upgrades between horse releases! More realistic show jumping is something I've always wanted.
YES!! I’ve been thinking we need like a field with a load of jumps, so it can have races but you can also just do what you want. And make it realistic, not like weird turns and stuff that are in other races
my main thing is why cant horses jump LOWER?? like lower the jumps to a realistic height and make the horses not overjump like theyre jumping over the moon. like, they cant even finish their jump animations smoothly or at all because theyre in the air so freaking long
I feel like sso needs some kind of event that happens like once a month where clubs or just people can preform while people who attend can watch. Like a club makes a routine and you can like enroll in the show for what ever you want, like, jumping, dressage, barrels, ect ect. It would be a great addition for clubs to use to show off their skills and routines, but not only clubs but just solo people too. And the audience could vote on the best performance and the people who place 🥇🥈🥉 get a prize, like Jorvik coins depending on the rank, and of course people who don’t win still get a pertispation award like in champs.
Oooh, the new showjumping looks awesome!! I hope getting faults doesn't affect how much exp you get...That's something I've always appreciated about Star Stable. Super excited about the lunging coming back, and new dutch warmblood and lipizzaner coats, hell yeah!!!!!

i'm exited for the new show jumping! the only thing i always ask myself: why are these jumps so huge? compared to the character and horses its like double to tripple the size of them if not more and i know the horse jumps so high but why not make it less? thanks for the video, like always its great!
@@victoriasunivers yes but it's kinda the norm in sso and even when we go for these huge jumps in these special events or whatever these are, it's still kinda too much? idk
probably because 1. there's no risk of damage to the horse, they're just pixels and 2. the horses only have one jump: the highest jump. there wouldn't be as much of a risk of hitting jumps if they were lower, since the horses jump so high, but they're also not going to go back in and reanimate every single jump and fix the hitbox or whatever to make it so the horses can do lower jumps. maybe in the future, but it's an unrealistic answer. so their only option there is to go with higher jumps, so it's an actual challenge.
@@heyitsdusk true, it's a game and no real animals get hurt etc. I think different jump heights are something they should add and eventually not just for the obstacles but for the different gaits as well. Just something I would like to see at some point, ofc some other stuff too and the things they want to add (what we saw in this video) look good so far
@@victoriasuniversyeah, but they’re right because in races and stuff you wouldn’t be jumping 1.40m every time you do a race. Ik the game isn’t the most realistic but it would be cool to even have a button so you can click “low jump” “medium jump” “high jump” and then it would make it look better
Did anyone else notice that in the lunging part that there was a wood thing where you can make it jumping and dressage ect like at Steve’s farm and there was one on the round pen where the lunging is
Oh my gosh this is so exciting! I'm so proud of SSO for trying something new and interesting; it feels like they're trying to live up to their potential at last!!
Personally what I’m really hoping they add is like different tack. Like blankets, breast collar, ear bonnet,a western saddle with a girth and a cinch, etc. things like that would potentially make things a bit more realistic! But this update nonetheless is awesome! I think it’s great their adding things like lunging and more realistic show jumping!
Fantastic! The changes we've all been waiting for are finally coming! I am very glad that the game's potential is beginning to really develop, and I hope that this is the beginning of something more. In my opinion, the situation with updates is getting better, many of our requests have been heard, the game is reaching a new level, completely new functions and activities are being introduced. SSE really needs to focus on making SSO a more equestrian-professional game than it is now. Numerous bases for roleplay are great, I often use them, according to my life experience of riding horses, but it will be much more interesting to fill the game with real gameplay mechanics! It's time for the existing "run and press the space bar" races to get a little more complicated. Although it has not been implemented yet, I am very interested to see what a horse's refusal to jump will look like! The game has a great future in this direction. с:

Why do they always release those pastel colour for blankets or clothing??? I want some nice bright updated colours! A warm sunny orangy long sleeved shirt or something! Not just pale boring colours!!!

New show jumping mechanics looks fun! I hope they don't just lock it one race I would love love for all the show jumping races to have a similar function, racing is so boring in star stable not to mention you can train a horse from 1-15 in one day now so adding some challenge into the races would really add something to sso it is a game after all it should have difficulties like one we could have easy mode which is the show jumping we have now and this could be hard mode.
@@MusicComet that's why I mentioned that there should be a a difficulty level, this new feature would be like a hard or show mode and the races we have in game now could be normal.
