SSO - !SPOILER! - Champion Ranks and "Star Pass" (Trailblazer Track) 

To clear everyone’s worries, I believe the trailblazer works very similarly to how Splatoon 3 has their catalogs, where you do normal game activities to get goods. Nothing more than just needing star rider to receive it

Star stable is the last game I would have imagined with a pass system 😂

Sellables for 1,000 JS for each, 7 days of free Stable Care, free change of appearance, Jollyhoof Treats, Travel Dust, prestigious ribbons, *SWORD EARRINGS* (!!!)… Now THIS is the kind of reward I do acknowledge as "solid". 👍 Hopefully SSO will bear this in mind if they're ever going to reintroduce the snowflake collection for Christmas!

Champion ranks seem a little grindy as someone who doesn’t know the champ times by heart it’ll be really difficult but I’m sure the champ nuts and shaking in their boots

ok, super relieved to see the team is going to release all exclusive rewards six months after each pass. totally alright with systems like these as long as those of us who have work/adult lives are able to get these items if we can't spend our time grinding. good with the ribbons being exclusive too and am always happy to see more in the game, but i'd love if they get a bigger ribbon model for the champion rank a la real horse shows!

I hope this is not affected by something that keeps happening in my server, that I've emailed them about PLENTY of times now. That is 'clubs' of maxxed out users and horses with top gear coming in with 3 or more people so they have the highest odds of taking all top three positiions. It's always the same people, same club. It's infuriating. These kinds of club take overs should not be allowed and destroys the fun of competitive championship races like these. EDIT: Judging from the point table it absolutely is. It's going to be a slog to grind through if your server had these clubs no matter how high your level is. I'm leel 25 and I deal with this issue. Star Stable needs to enfore a limit on how many people from the same club can enter at the same time or something. I don't care how complex it is, this aint it chief. I should clarify that I'm at the same level as these people and even if I have the same gear, same horse level, take the same shortcuts and all that these folks still ZOOM ahead unnaturally fast. Yes, I've reported them for cheating, no, nothing happened, the main offender was gone for a few weeks but after that they were right back where they left off. The reason why I focus on the club aspect is because often these clubs share methods to cheat in off-game platforms.

As if the cheaters werent bad enough already, lets give them more of an incentive to do so... Most people will struggle and dont have the time or desire to run championships just to be in a field of cheaters. Its 250 points over a month and cheaters wont stop when they hit the 250. As for the pass - I have no quests besides whatever they'll come out with next, All my horses are trained and their isnt one that I want to get, and I have nearly all achievements and collectables... Fishing is what I need to do and its a buggy mess from what I've seen. This will be good for new and middle players but pretty much no real way to earn any points towards it as an older player without buying a horse or running around to gather flowers/light - assuming Light will count as a collectable. Yeah it says care for a horse but why would I care for one that Im not training or using.

Honestly I'd like it more if they updated the UI look and some of the icons. They look... not as good as the tack to say the least.

OMG THIS WAS LITERALLY MY IDEA!!!! I know it probably sounds like I’m lying for likes, but a while back I emailed sso with an idea that was so similar to this. This shows that they really do read the suggestions and take them into account

so let me get this right... we have a game pass... a notorious free to play game feature, in a paid game, that as proven twice before that can't balance their "pass activities" in order to not make it a chore to their players, with this new pass forcing you to do quests and gather collectables in order to move forward, in a game where most of the players have all quests and collectables done already besides a horse thats a chore to work for.... I swear it feels like they are going to test this pass for a few months on mostly the new players, then either start charging extra star coins for everyone to unlock the good rewards or worse, lock the weekly allowance we paid for, behind it at the end of the pass, and remove the weekly allowance altogether I predict a slap in the face of all old star riders coming hot by the end of the year... Also for people defending this on the basis that their company is at a loss of profit, reminder that they are also the company that branched out too fast during covid for new stuff like an animated series and books instead of investing the money in expanding their teams in order to handle to larger player number. Its also the company that is, according to numbers of course, not a small company to justify their lack of maintenance in their game chat and avoidance in fixing bugs on horses that their player base paid for without the bugs originally, and also invested the extra money they had in useless tack and toys for their office including custom made statues of their characters and tree you can see in the videos. A company should never lay their bad decisions on their players, much less disrespect their players money with practices we have seen going south in other games before... I am very worried of the future of the game... and for the future of all star riders I think we should have gotten daily login rewards instead of another chore we have to work for like peasants to obtain. Not only that but its definitely not worth them removing the cloud kingdom event and making it a glorified sales event...

Is anyone else confused on the Trail Of Dawn and Trialblazer Track thing? It says non Star Riders can do the Trailblazer Track but can't get rewards...but what's the point in that? And what is the Trail Of Dawn?

I dislike that it seems to punish players who finished their collections and achievements. I'm personally finished with every quest, achievement, reputation and so on. All I do is ride around with friends and play dress-up and I feel pretty left out with this system. Right now everything I do in SSO but timed events is intrinisically motivated and I fear most of my playtime might become extrinsicly motivated and full of pressure. BUT I LOVE that everything will be made available six months after! That makes everything soo much better.

I do like how SSO is adding more to the game to make it more interesting. But I think they are adding TOO much.

I don´t care about this pass. I´m playing to have fun not to collect gifts for doing boring things. This feels like going to work and do the same things you did over years. I started playing SSO years ago, so I have done all collectables or achievments.

The Champion ranks system is just another reason why will people use cheats... Do you guys remember people getting banned because of reporting cheaters? And cheaters getting away with it?

Welp if they are going to add a gamepass you know that the game got to boring
