Hi, thanks for the video. Do I understand correctly that I need to do this on the report server? UPD: The question is being removed, Thanks for your video, it helped a lot. From Russia with love
Hi Carson, I really liked your post but i got the following error: An error occurred during local report processing. The definition of the eport is invalid. Could not load file or assembly QRCoder=1.3.6.0 or one of its dependencies. Even though I added the qrcoder.dll to this C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin
Can anybody help with this error. There is an error on line 1 of custom code . QRcodergenerator is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to protection level.
The location changed for 2017 see docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/custom-assemblies/using-custom-assemblies-with-reports?view=sql-server-ver15
HI, great video. I followed the steps but I get the following errors: [rsRuntimeErrorInExpression] The Value expression for the image 'Image1' contains an error: That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers. [rsInvalidDatabaseImageProperty] The value of the ImageData property for the image 'Image1' is "=Code.QRCoderByteArray("Test")", which is not a valid ImageData. Why is that?
I was able to solve that issue by adding the .dll the first time after opening report builder from the server. After adding the .dll from the server I could run report builder from my client without any issues.
