There is almost a strobing aurora look to those colors in the background. Really pretty! I did a similar one with blue, pink and gray for an early morning sky on a farm scene with a cornfield in the background.
Super pretty card! I love how those colors look together and the way you created sort of horizontal stripes around the image. Gorgeous! I can't wait to get that stamp.
Try softly blowing through a straw an inch or so above the paper to direct the water/color. Works like a charm and it doesn’t get your fingers stained 👍
Thank you so much for introducing us to these lovely powders. I first saw this video about 2 months ago and was intrigued by the product. I ordered 8 colors and have been playing with them. They're very versatile. Last week, I put a little of each color in my palette and added several drops of water to each color and made them into watercolors. I created a swatch chart of the 8 colors. Wow! What a variety of colors they'll make. I found that the more water you add, the less shimmer is visible; however, to recreate the original shimmer of the powder before it was diluted, I added a pinch of Perfect Pearl to each color, the shimmer was back! The swatch chart has been extremely helpful with coordinating colors and creating new colors.

What a fabulous color combination. It really invokes thoughts of spring and summer! That is a wonderful stamp set, so many possibilities. I’m really going to have to try those shimmer powders. Another great card!
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I just bought the shimmer powders and I love them but I suck at using them, so this technique was very helpful. I can't wait to try it! Also, I love thunderstorms too!!! ☺️☺️☺️
This is lovely, I love the shimmer powders. FYI as I was watching this we were getting a thunderstorm too, I had to keep taking my ear phones off to hear if it was your thunder or mine. lol

I've been dithering about getting the powders, because in packing my house to move, I realized just how much stuff I have - that I have yet to use, lol!
