This one had a crazy moment literally in the first 30 seconds, talk about starting off strong! Like always with Daggy-brand Longplays, the "philosophy" is variety - spicing up my routes, tricks and riding styles throughout. I also decided to switch between race and showoff often, to hopefully keep some nice variety going. I tried to get Luther with a knockdown, the operative word there being tried! Never really understood how knockdowns work in this game, when I'm going for them they rarely come off, but then you get a million of them without trying :P
I can see the Earth rotating!

David Arquette signed my copy of SSX Tricky last year. It was a blast from the past for him! Most people were getting him to sign Scream masks.

Oh man that's awesome, happy for you! It makes me wonder, when some artists, actors etc. have such a long list of things they've done, does it make them smile when they get a request or a message about something they rarely hear about? Like Mark Hildreth's role as Atomika for instance?

@@Daggy898 Yeah I couldn’t wait to see his reaction when I handed it to him. I asked him about working with Steve Rechtschaffner, and he asked if he’s still a big guy in the business, and I told him he left SSX after the 3rd game, but is doing his own stuff. Also, I told Steve this on Twitter, and showed him the photos of my interaction. He either doesn’t check Twitter, or completely ignored me/doesn’t give a shit haha

It's always funny when you play as Luther and simply tapping another rider knocks them down.

That's awesome! SSX, specifically 3, was pretty much the only game my parents put any real time (read: more than 10 minutes) into with me when I was a kid, definitely a fond memory :) seems SSX maybe has a special draw that can even overcome the hate most parents seem to have for games ;P

Yeah, these Longplay videos are just more of a showcase of the game and my performance isn't that good as a result 😅 you'll see I take a lot of lines I'm not very familiar with, because it's all about keeping good variety and showing off as much of the game as I can. I also go for a bunch of stupid crap just because it would be fun/look cool to pull off which obviously you wouldn't do in a speedrun, but here there's no real penalty for losing other than maybe having to restart, so might as well just have a bit of casual fun!
