Stock ssx 303 noozle (1.7 to 2.5 joules) + hpa mag tap at 50 psi - gives around 350 fps (1.14 joules). You do not need different noozles. Joules/fps can vary a little deppending bb weight ( joulecreep) but this nnb is so efficient you can reduce to 45 psi or more if it is neccesary :)
I’m a newbie at this now, after having a BB gun in my younger years, I’m really enjoying all the instructional videos here. Thanks , keep up the good work
Perfect timing.Once again had to go home after my ssx303 wasnt performing right, firing at .65joules🙄on red gas .43bbs.Bout time I go hpa. Thanks for posting this.Good luck
Got a video going up on 09/02/23 so you can see the SSX303 on HPA and how it works with using the drum mag and the refresh rate of the LP regulator. I don't think you'll be disappointed. That's one thing you'll not get off of me is BS to sell guns or brown nosing to sell someone else's guns. Hope you get it sorted mate.
I just found out about these HPA taps/conversions for this gun, and now I am really interested, haha. I'm in Florida, USA, so cold weather isn't much of a problem here. I would do this so I don't have to have multiple, expensive gas magazines and so I don't have to reload.
Finally good explanation. May i know where did you buy this drumm mag? Almost have same setup - tank and Ssx303. What LP regulator you have? Im going to get one from Novrich. Any advise?? Ty.
I got the Drum mag, The HPA Drum adapter and the Balystik SMR200 HPA Regulator with the 40 inch braided hose, all from www.airtac.me/ I don't know about the Novrich Regulator, but looking at them, they do look the same...... On the outside, so that would be upto yourself who you go with on that one mate. Hope this helps.
Hello , Ive recently bought conversion for my ssx303 and on max nozzle it shoot 0.4j on 210psi… when i lower psi to around 100 i get 1.2j and it is max. Why is that
Your pressure is getting out from behind your BB, could be your Hopup Bucking or Gas route (The rubber bit on top of your mag) Putting 210psi down it may of moved something out of place, if you strip it down and give it a clean it may help to line things back up when you put it back together and will give you a chance to see if anything is damaged. Then start low on your psi, 100psi and slowly bring it up to get the J's you want.
If you look in to it you may find co2 mag adapters for HPA. It will work better, but you will need to unclip the hose each time you change the mag, this is when people get hi-cap mags so they don't need to do that as much.
Little hard to say mate, I've not had any problems with it running on HPA, but would like to play with it a bit longer before I start say you should go out and get one. Sorry mate.
@@SNAFU-Airsoft that’s no worries mate thanks for the advice, wanted to find a cost effective way too get a DMR, and on paper ssx303 sound perfect but might order the German version of the ssr4 and turn that to a dmr
@@SNAFU-Airsoft yeah I watched your video and was like think HPA is the only way to go with it and that adds on a hole new addition overlay as I don’t have anything hpa and not 100% confident with it either I’ve done a lot of research but still enjoy the plug and play, and be abit louder
Yep, I wouldn't buy one again and would not of got this one if I knew the trouble it was going to be. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P7l5rdEtZp8.html
Hi mate I’ve got a 303. Most CQB sites are now single shot only. I was thinking to go HPA at 350 on it. This mag and set up would be really good. But how do i reduce to 350. Cheers
