Very good clip. Some climb, and then that side-step descent into Valluga West under the bridge seems pretty sketchy ?? And after that you guys popped up on sort of a ridge before dropping in ? Any reason? Snow up top was chalk but lower down, seemed like ice cream soft powder! Very nice. Thanks. Question: Did you both have Avi-Bags along with regular climbing gear ? Just curious.Just great stuff and you guys are gunning it all the way down in over-drive!
Thanks again! Yeh under the bridge it was very sketchy with a lot of small rocks and stones. But as long as you didn't slide down it was cool for the skis. It was mostly to have a safe and flat place to stop and talk before we were dropping down into the bowl. The snow was really nice, not so deep but it was still a really good feeling. Yeh we had avi-bags with airbag, transceiver, probe and shovel. My friend had an ice axe but not me. Otherwise we didn't have any special climbing gear and it was all g. Thanks for the response!
We visited the Arlberg Easter week, and the 15 year old in our party did the Valluga and a lot of others. The video is long, and also has family and friends but captures Valluga unlike any other but yours. He is not experienced in deep powder but you can see for yourself. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BHtZxQSadPI.html . And there is one of him becoming an SCA member, was pretty cool thing, that is a short clip right after the Off-Piste Arlberg video. On my channel. Thanks for your insights earlier and the great video.
