I agree. I have been on a lot of this route and the money spent should have been used widening other roads in the area to help the buses use them safely. I was using a narrow lane and had to stop suddenly when a double decker appeared from around a bend. Just enough space to get my van through but no it shouldn't be like that. My town Swindon needs more bus routes. Could do with one linking west to east which would link up retail parks and work for me.
Look at the mass devastation to the habitats of all flora and fauna along that cut-through. So sad and upsetting to see. The many millions this is costing could have been better spent on IMPROVING PUBLIC TRNASPORT routes instead - like our local railway routes and putting on more buses to better connect from train stations to towns and villages and vice versa, thus creating PERMANENT LOCAL JOBS, doing MORE TO REDUCE local POLLUTION and getting MANY CARS OFF THE ROADS. Instead all this will do IS INCREASE THE VOLUME OF POLLUTING VEHICLES, thus making air quality WORSE, impacting humans and nature alike. We NEED TO INJECT MONEY in to making PUBLIC TRANSPORT BETTER, more frequent and CHESPER TO USE. THERE IS NO PLANET B
