St Clair River BASS FISHING, at an OIL REFINERY
Today we fish the runoff water of an oil refinery in Sarnia Canada. We catch Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Silver Bass (White Bass) and Freshwater Drum (Sheeps Head). There are a few little tips and tricks in the video, to help you catch bass in muddy water, or after it rains. Fishing dirty water can be a bit intimidating, but hopefully a few of these tips will help you catch some fish.

The gar are great in there, I get them to bite, but the hook never holds on their boney mouth.

Yah, it’s got to be some of the best freshwater fishing in the world. There are so many different species to target, everything from 200 lb lake Sturgeon to little palm sized blue gill.

Yah, the green spec and the perl have caught about 30 fish on the trip, and I have only had to use the two plastics. I brought hundreds of them, and the original two grubs are still going.

Those oil refinerys are our life line! Without them sarnia would be a ghost town! Everyone works in the plants!

thats TALFOURD CREEK that dumps into the ST CLAIR RIVER.That steel breakwall,believe it or not the water level use to be inches below that in the early 80,s.The carp use to be in there so solid you could almost walk on them! Major fun snagging 30lb plus carp as a 10 years old!

@@nunayobiznass why would you want your kids first fish to be a carp?cmon bro we have one of the best pickerel/walleye rivers in the WORLD! Then theres every other freshwater species there is.

@@nunayobiznass you can catch the ANYWHERE in the ST CLAIR river.MISTER TWISTERS are the very best artificial bait and using a syringe to blow up worms so they float foot and a half to 3 ft off bottom is a sure way to catch any GAME FISH!

Thanks. I just shot this 2 days ago, I'm visiting family in Canada. The edit was something different for me, all the fishing was shot on the chest mount, then I shot the b-roll to try to match up, which is different than my normal multi-cam boat videos.

Apparently that’s how they do it in the movies. Even on dialog with different cameras, they seem to only use one camera. I was surprised how much I could build around the gopro chest cam footage.

Thats funny, I fished Florida a few years back, and caught most of my fish in dirty water on rattle lures, in both fresh and salt. With the exception being the Florida Keys, the water there was as clear as a swimming poll, most of the time.

Sad you have to resort to fishing when where you can't eat the fish. We actually used to eat the fish here in the 1980s when we were poor and naive to what was lurking in that cesspool! What a Shithole. I grew up here and left for better fishing elsewhere where I can actually eat them. Lmfaoo
