I'm going to be following this whole series for sure. And this whole channel I've been looking for another ride company this switch over to for next season in St Croix has been on my radar for many years. And now someone that actually is very knowledgeable, very well spoken and truly does full in-depth reviews is absolutely amazing
Thank you very much for your comments. I wanted to do something different than what I saw for rod reviews. I have a good foundation, and with the addition of actual use on the water catching fish, they are much better.
The only thing I may suggest is the bend test is see a little bit of. See you then if you are pulling almost eye level. Instead of actually pulling up on something that is lowered. Maybe suggestion of tying a few ounces on a some line at the tip of the rod. To get a good clear picture of the parabolic bend in each of these models the way it looks now is that you're pulling from directly in front of you and doesn't seem like true action of rod you can't quite tell. Just a suggestion though. Other than that I wouldn't change anything else about the review
It does look that way, but I have the line tied to something at ground level and about 15 ft in front of me. Even that is not like a fish that is 30 ft in front and 15 ft down. Something for me to consider in the future.
I throw straight floro. I would not call the guides micro, maybe I did say they were micro, my mistake they are not. They are small. You can see them in the slide show portion of the review. I have a close-up of the guides. If you are asking, would a braid to floro knot get through the guides easily, the answer is yes, no problem.
